| The uncertainty caused by the New Crown pneumonia epidemic and changes to the CBA League competition programme have made the 2020-2021 season destined to be an extraordinary one.This season is the first in which the CBA league has adopted a tournament system throughout,and the first time that the regular season has increased from 46 to 56 rounds,with the total number of games played reaching an all-time high.Technical and tactical enhancements have also allowed the gap between teams to get smaller,with the number of overtime games doubling from last season.The purpose of overtime,as an extension of the game,is to separate the winners from the losers.How to score quickly and purposefully in overtime and win the game has become a question worth exploring.In this paper,the statistics of overtime video of the CBA league in the 2020-2021 season,the research object is the characteristics of overtime offensive tactics,and the research methods such as literature method,expert interview method,video observation method and comparative analysis method are used to analyze the characteristics of overtime offensive tactics in the CBA league in the 2020-2021 season from the aspects of drop formation,passing,scoring method and scoring area,etc.The following conclusions are drawn.1.The success rates of offensive tactics in overtime,in descending order,are:(1)fast break tactics;(2)position attack tactics;(3)rush tactics;and(4)throw-in tactics.2.In the overtime game,the players had a good awareness of fast break and steal tactics,mainly 2-man attacks,and maintained a high percentage of 2-pointers and free throws,but a low percentage of 3-pointers.The players are good at using the ball to break into the frontcourt and then using the break or cover to complete the attack.The intensity of the confrontation is low and the number of free throws is reduced.3.Characteristics of overtime position offensive plays:Most of the position offensive plays are simple and clear,often using 1-2-2 drop or mobile drop,usually using the ball to cover or burst to complete the offense,and occasionally using the curtain and passing and cutting to play a beautiful offense.The offensive man-to-man defence is used to clear the basket or a certain side of the floor to take advantage of delays created by coverages and defensive mismatches.The offensive zone link-up play manifests itself as the centre covering for the fullback on the top line side of the field,creating a localised multiple play.4.Characteristics of Out-of-Bounds Tosses in overtime:The success rate of executing 2-point plays is higher than that of 3-point plays.The box stance is the most used and stable type of stance for out-of-bounds plays.The offense is completed through a lot of running without the ball and covering without the ball.5.The advantages of the winning team’s offensive tactics in overtime:(1)more fast breaks are launched by way of steals and caps;(2)the position attack is targeted,the offensive man-to-man defence tactics focus on the basket attack,the scoring method is mainly under the basket,the offensive zone joint defence tactics are based on mid-range shooting,and the three-point shot is the main source of scoring.(3)The use of offensive base coordination was comprehensive. |
