The release of China’s "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)" indicates that primary school mathematics textbooks will also be revised and improved to varying degrees.Through the comparison of Chinese and foreign textbooks,it can provide reference for the subsequent revision of primary school mathematics textbooks based on "literacy" in China.Therefore,based on the core literacy,this study compares the differences and characteristics of primary school mathematics textbooks published by China Beijing Normal University,Go Math published by the United States and MC published by Singapore in terms of core literacy and problem situations.This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter mainly explains the research origin,research methods and research framework.The second chapter is the framework comparison of core literacy among China,America and New Zealand,Clarify the essential requirements of the three countries for education.Primary school mathematics curriculum standards are programmatic documents for compiling primary school mathematics textbooks.Analyzing the primary school mathematics curriculum standards in the three countries can also help us have a deeper understanding of the core literacy of mathematics advocated by them.Therefore,the third chapter is based on the core literacy of China,the United States,the new primary school mathematics curriculum standards comparison.The fourth chapter is a comparative study of Chinese,American and new primary school mathematics textbooks based on core literacy.Starting with the common scores,triangles,statistics,synthesis and practice,it analyzes the characteristics and differences of mathematics core literacy in three different versions of primary school mathematics textbooks.The fifth chapter is a comparative study on the problem situation creation of Chinese,American and new primary school mathematics textbooks based on core literacy,Starting from the common knowledge points,the data of the problem situations in the three versions of primary school mathematics textbooks are analyzed,and then the content differences of the problem situations in the three versions of textbooks are found out.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion.Through the analysis and summary of the contents presented in this study,the corresponding conclusions and suggestions are drawn.Based on this study,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the core literacy of mathematics in Chinese,American and new textbooks has its own emphasis.Second,the problem situation of the textbook "Go Math" is richer and more diverse.Thirdly,the textbook "Go Math" pays more attention to the cultivation of mathematical accuracy literacy and interdisciplinary learning.Therefore,the following suggestions for the revision of primary school mathematics textbooks based on "literacy" are as follows: First,pay attention to the outstanding cultivation of mathematics core literacy.Second,the problem situation should keep pace with the times and be true and rich.Third,pay attention to interdisciplinary learning of mathematics,refine the presentation of knowledge,and promote the improvement of students’ accuracy literacy.Three suggestions for the follow-up use of "literacy"-based primary school mathematics textbooks are to improve teachers’ books and highlight core literacy;Hold teachers’ seminars regularly to improve teachers’ professional quality;Rural teachers need to actively create problem situations that are in line with students’ reality.Suggestions for the development of "literacy"-oriented curriculum resources are as follows: first,organize activities and emphasize the expression of mathematical language;Secondly,we should connect with reality and emphasize the life of mathematics;Finally,divergent thinking,pay attention to multidisciplinary joint teaching.
