On May 22,2022,in order to promote the informatization and digitization of Chinese culture,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Opinions on Promoting the Implementation of the National Strategy of Digitization of Chinese Culture,clarifying that by 2035,the achievements of digitization of Chinese culture will be shared by the whole people,and the university history Museum will serve as an important carrier to shape the cultural atmosphere of colleges and universities and spread the history of the university.We should attach importance to digital school history library in response to this strategic theme.In addition,in the social field,digital transformation continues to penetrate,and the rapid development of digital technology has a significant impact on the field of education,especially on the education of colleges and universities,resulting in profound changes in students’ learning methods.Students can learn through all network resources,which provides conditions for the digital school history library to play its educational function.The digital history museum in universities has the characteristics of more convenient to visit,larger resource capacity,more intuitive way of display,wider audience and so on.It has the necessary educational materials,educational media and educational places,so it has the necessity and feasibility of education.Its education function includes cultural cultivation function,knowledge expansion function,moral norm function,emotional cohesion function and aesthetic improvement.It is a network resource with rich educational value,and also an efficient and convenient way of education,which is conducive to the university history and culture to have an appropriate promotion effect on the all-round development of college students.This study found through online research that in the background of the digital era,the construction of digital school history halls in universities has made some achievements,and most universities have established their own fully functional and comfortable digital history museum in universities.However,Analysis of 205 university questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 7 representative university students,it is found that the function of educating people in digital school history museums in universities is not sufficient,and there are problems of low attention and vague orientation of educating people,homogeneous content setting and lack of individuality of educating people,single presentation form and lack of effectiveness of educating people,lack of interaction and communication and lack of depth of educating people.The reasons for this are the backward view of education,insufficient exploitation of school history resources,insufficient use of digitalization and lack of understanding of students’ needs.Based on this,this paper proposes countermeasures to improve the nurturing function of digital history museum in universities and in colleges.In terms of ideology,we should pay attention to theoretical construction,update educational concepts and pay attention to students’ information literacy;in terms of resource management,we should integrate with college archives and actively carry out research on school history;in terms of display effect,we should focus on students’ visiting experience and move towards a participatory digital history museum in universities.
