Research On Homework Design And Practice Based On The "Home Laboratory" Column In Junior Middle School Physics Textbook

Abstract/Summary:
"Pay attention to scientific inquiry" has always been one of the basic concepts of compulsory education physics curriculum.In order to improve students’ practical ability to analyze and solve problems,and develop students’ scientific thinking ability and core literacy,physics teachers should not only attach great importance to the experimental research activities in the classroom,but also actively guide students to explore in their spare time,and encourage students to complete some simple small experiments and small productions outside the classroom.Based on this,the "Family Laboratory" column is specially set up in the textbook of junior high school physics teaching.However,the survey found that the content of the "Family Lab" column did not receive enough attention and application from the majority of teachers and students,which led to the basic appearance of the content of the column in the textbooks.It coincided with the implementation of the "double reduction" policy in primary and secondary schools in 2021,which required that homework be "reduced in quantity and improved in quality",some paper and pencil homework be reduced,and some hands-on homework be added.Therefore,this study tries to develop and utilize the contents of the "home laboratory" column,construct an experimental homework sheet,and optimize it into a valuable homework form.The specific research contents include:(1)This paper expounds the relevant pedagogical theories on which this research is based,mainly including pragmatism education thoughts and constructivism learning theories,and then defines the core concepts of "home laboratory" column,home physics experiment and home physics experiment homework.(2)Conduct a questionnaire survey on junior high school students and parents to understand the development of junior high school physics experiments,the use of the "home laboratory" column,the current situation of junior high school physics homework,and the opinions and suggestions of students and parents on home physics experiment homework,so as to provide necessary reference and basis for the follow-up development of home physics experiment homework.(3)Formulate the homework design plan,mainly including the design principles,design process and design type of the homework for home physics experiment,and solve the problem of "how to design" and "what to design" of the homework for home physics experiment from the theoretical level.(4)Carry out practical research,design four different types of homework cases and carry out specific implementation,and then test the implementation effect through the combination of questionnaires and interviews.Finally,according to my own experience and perception in the process of practice,give three implementation suggestions to solve the problem of "how to design and implement" and "how to implement the effect" of home physics experiment homework from the practical level.Through a certain amount of practical research,the author finds that it is feasible to carry out home physics experiment homework in junior high school,and this homework enriches and perfects the traditional forms of physics homework.To a certain extent,it can enhance students’ interest in physics learning,improve their physics learning habits,and facilitate a more harmonious relationship between parents and children and between teachers and students.
