Abstract/Summary:
"The Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 edition 2020 Revision)" issued by the Ministry of Education," teachers should adopt personalized teaching guidance,pay attention to cultivating students’ interest in learning,and make students develop a positive and active learning attitude.Through reading relevant literature,it is found that some students lack interest and motivation in learning in information technology class,resulting in poor learning behavior and learning effect.Gamification can play an important role in improving students’ learning motivation,Therefore,this study introduces gamification teaching into the information technology class of high school,so that students can learn new knowledge more actively and efficiently while being full of interest in learning,so as to combine education with pleasure.This study focuses on the design of the process of gamification teaching activity in high school information technology.Based on ARCS Motivation Model,with stimulating and maintaining students ’learning motivation as the starting point,and with the purpose of promoting students’ mastery of knowledge,it carries out the teaching research on high school information technology gamification teaching activity based on ARCS.Through reading a large number of literature,this paper analyzes the current research situation of game teaching,ARCS and ARCS in game teaching,based on the game theory,achievement motivation theory,flow theory and cognition theory,explore the relationship among game teaching,ARCS and information technology in high school,design the process of information technology gamification teaching activities based on ARCS in high school,and use this process to carry on the teaching design and practical research.Taking the students of the experimental class and the control class of S middle school as the research object,using questionnaire survey,interview and other methods to measure the students ’learning motivation and learning effect,and analyze the data obtained in the experiment,to verify the effectiveness of the design of high school information technology gamification teaching process based on ARCS in stimulating and maintaining students’ learning motivation and promoting students’ mastery of knowledge.Through the research,we can find that the design of high school information technology gamification teaching process based on ARCS is effective in teaching and can effectively stimulate and maintain students ’learning motivation and promote students’ mastery of knowledge.Therefore,this study has a reference value to carry out the gamification teaching in the high school information technology classroom.
