"Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" is one of the important units in high school chemistry,which plays an important role in influencing students’ understanding of high school chemistry and establishing discipline concepts.In order to enable students to more effectively master this part of the content,in combination with actual situations such as classroom teaching,APOS theory can be introduced into the teaching process of Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy,which is conducive to guiding high school chemistry teaching,conforms to the educational philosophy of the new curriculum reform,and provides new ideas and concepts for high school chemistry teaching,which has important significance in both theoretical guidance and practical teaching.Firstly,the relevant literature on APOS theory is reviewed,sorted out,and summarized.The research on APOS theory and high school chemical reaction and electricity research at home and abroad are reviewed.During this process,it is found that applying APOS theory to the teaching process of "Chemical Reaction and Electricity" has theoretical guidance and practical significance.The ideas embodied in the APOS theory are consistent with the teaching philosophy of the new curriculum reform,and are also the learning method of teaching and learning that teachers and students expect.In order to fully understand the current situation of teaching and learning in the topic unit "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy",a survey and analysis were conducted among students and teachers in the form of questionnaires and interviews,providing factual basis for the teaching design and practical application of the combination of APOS theory and "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy".Secondly,based on the characteristics of APOS theory,the basic principles for designing teaching links based on APOS theory are established:(1)Teaching should highlight the dominant position of students;(2)Teaching design should be exploratory;(3)Teaching should be conducted in a reasonable context.Based on this,the teaching implementation principle of combining APOS theory with the unit "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" should be clarified.Combining the characteristics of the four stages of APOS theory and the characteristics of chemistry teaching,it is clear that the design of the teaching link of " Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" under the guidance of APOS theory is as follows:(1)Activity stage: creating a reasonable situation and exploring concepts;(2)Process stage: forming and understanding concepts;(3)Object stage: consolidating concepts and deepening understanding;(4)Schema stage: Apply summary to form a knowledge framework.Comparative analysis was conducted through the pre test and post test of the experimental class and the control class,and front-line teachers were invited to observe and evaluate the experimental class and the control class in class and assign scores to them,in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of APOS theory in guiding the teaching of Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy.Finally,based on the experimental results,four suggestions are given to guide the teaching and learning of "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" with APOS theory:preventing the mechanical use of APOS theory in teaching;Bring into play the multiple applications of APOS theory in high school chemistry teaching;Using APOS theory as a teaching guide to promote students’ literacy;Integrate APOS theory with teaching content to promote knowledge internalization. |
