As a cutting-edge new teaching concept,the concept of unit teaching has received wide attention from educators and front-line teachers of various disciplines in recent years.The concept of unit teaching focuses on the development of core literacy under the guidance of the new curriculum,but in the actual implementation of unit teaching,many teaching problems and obstacles are still inevitable,leading to the failure of unit teaching to achieve the desired effect,while variable teaching is known for its creativity and flexibility,and there is a lack of integration between these two cutting-edge theories.Therefore,this paper innovatively proposes to use variable teaching methods as an effective way to realize the concept of unit teaching,to deeply implement the cultivation of mathematical core literacy,and to innovatively design teaching strategies.This paper mainly adopts literature analysis and survey research methods,combining a large amount of literature reading and analysis,to deeply understand the theoretical basis of variation theory,multiple representation theory,Freudenthal’s re-creation theory and the theory of nearest development area and scaffolding,so that the design and proposal of teaching strategies can become more justified.The design of teaching strategies is guided by the results of research on the relevant teaching elements of front-line teachers and students.Secondly,following the holistic idea in the concept of unit teaching,we start from the analysis of unit infrastructure and carry out the overall design of the teaching process,including the setting of unit objectives,pre-learning assessment,the construction of teaching units,the construction of lesson objectives,the teaching of specific lessons and the construction of knowledge networks for thematic inquiry.The design strategy of the small units will set the tone for the whole unit and will be the core breakthrough point to break the deficiencies in the implementation of the unit.Finally,the unit on trigonometric functions is used as a strategy test case,and the proposed and designed teaching strategies are followed to make a realistic attempt to design the implementation of variable teaching methods under the concept of unit,which adds to the practical theory of unit teaching under the goal of core literacy training.The innovative design of variable teaching strategies under the concept of unit teaching can strengthen the cultivation of students’ rational thinking in mathematics,enhance students’ ability to think about problems and solve them,make students have a greater sense of the big picture in mathematics learning,and provide a certain degree of teaching reference for front-line mathematics teachers to finally implement the ideal goal of core literacy training in mathematics.
