In April 2022,the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Version)(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum Standards")was officially promulgated.The new curriculum standard will "Chinese core quality" outline,formally put forward the concept of "Chinese core quality" and elaborate its connotation.The new curriculum standard puts forward "learning task group" in the teaching content section of Chinese subject course.As one of the contents of the extended learning task group,reading the whole book is conducive to comprehensively improving students’ Chinese ability and enriching their spiritual world,which is also a great response to the new curriculum standards for the cultivation of students’ Chinese core quality.However,at the present stage,the cultivation of students’ core Chinese quality and the integration of the whole book reading teaching in the high school section of primary school are still insufficient.Therefore,it is particularly important to optimize the whole book reading teaching system under the Chinese core accomplishment.The survey objects of this study are teachers and students of senior grade in A primary school in Harbin City.Through classroom observation method,questionnaire method,teacher interview method and other methods,the current situation of the whole book reading teaching in senior grade school is analyzed to reflect on the causes of inadequate teaching practice.On this basis,the strategy of improving the whole book reading teaching in senior grade school under the core literacy of Chinese is proposed.This study can be divided into five parts;The first part is the introduction.This paper includes the reason of topic selection,research significance,domestic and foreign research status review,research ideas,research methods and innovation points.The second part is an overview of the research on the whole book reading teaching from the perspective of Chinese core literacy,including the theoretical basis,the definition of core concepts,and the elaboration of the relationship between Chinese core literacy and the whole book reading.The third part is the research design of the whole book reading teaching under the Chinese core literacy of primary school,including the purpose of the survey,the survey object,the survey design,the analysis of the questionnaire results of teachers and students.The fourth part is the analysis of the existing problems and causes of the whole book reading teaching under the Chinese core accomplishment.The investigation shows that there are existing problems,such as teachers’ insufficient understanding of the relationship between the core literacy and the whole book reading and the fuzzy teaching objectives of the whole book reading.The reasons for the above problems are as follows;teachers’ reading literacy needs to be improved and teachers’ lack of experience in the whole book reading teaching.The fifth part is the whole book reading teaching promotion strategy under the Chinese core accomplishment.This paper puts forward improvement strategies from five aspects;stimulating students’ reading interest,clarifying the teaching objectives of the whole book reading,perfecting the selection of the whole book reading bibliography,optimizing the teaching methods of the whole book reading and innovating the teaching evaluation of the whole book reading.
