Excellent bouncing power in basketball makes it easier for basketball players to complete jumping movements such as jumping on one foot and jumping on both feet in the game, and to complete various technical movements efficiently in the offensive and defensive ends, all of which require excellent lower limb strength as a guarantee.Studies have shown that basketball players generally have uneven lower limb strength development. This is partly due to genetic factors, and partly due to long-term training habits. Some athletes are always used to using their strong side leg to jump to complete the layup action or are used to jumping with one foot but not with both feet.Over time,it makes the nerve recruitment ability of one leg more than the other, and the muscle strength of both sides of the lower limb is imbalanced. Not only will affect the athletes’ athletic ability on the field, sports performance will also increase the risk of injury during intense physical confrontation.Weak lateral leg strength training has been proven to be feasible and effective in other sports, but in the domestic basketball training field, there are few research results on weak lateral leg strength training for developing basketball players’ special bouncing power. In this paper,we take the athletes of men’s basketball class of Capital Institute of Sports as the experimental object, determine the experimental test index and experimental training program by interviewing experts and designing expert questionnaires, analyze the data before and after the experiment, and investigate the effect of weak lateral leg strength training on the special bounce of college men’s basketball players. The research methods used in this paper: literature method, expert interview method,Delphi method, experimental method, and mathematical and statistical method. The literature related to the definition of basketball special bounce ability, basketball bounce training principles and methods, and weak lateral leg strength training was reviewed and organized in the previous period. The Delphi method and expert interview method were used to determine the test index, training means and training program for this study.Eighteen athletes from the special men’s basketball class of Capital Institute of Physical Education were used as the experimental subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the experimental group. The control group was finally determined to train together with the experimental group on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays every week, and the experimental group adopted the strengthening weak side leg strength training program, while the control group adopted the regular lower limb strength training program, and the training content and load were basically kept the same, and the whole training process lasted for 9 weeks. Before and after the experiment, independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test were conducted to analyze the results of in situ double-legged jump touch height, stride double-legged jump touch height, assisted single-legged jump touch height, assisted double-legged jump touch height and the average height of three consecutive vertical jumps of the two groups, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)After 9 weeks of training, the experimental group showed little improvement in the performance of assisted single-leg jump touch height, but there was a significant improvement in the performance of in situ double-leg jump touch height, stride double-leg jump touch height, assisted double-leg jump touch height and the average height of three consecutive vertical jumps, and there was a highly significant difference before and after the experiment. This indicates that after the weak side leg strength training, the maximum strength, rapid strength and strength endurance of the weak side leg were further exercised, and the unbalanced development of lower limb strength in the experimental group was improved to a certain extent, which can develop the special jumping power of college male basketball players as a whole.(2)After 9 weeks of training, the control group improved all the touch height scores. There was a significant difference between before and after the experiment in the in situ double-legged jump touch height and the average height of three consecutive vertical jumps, while there was no significant difference between before and after the experiment in the rest of the indexes. This indicates that the conventional lower limb training methods have a significant effect on the improvement of the in situ jump height and the average height of 3 consecutive vertical jumps of college male basketball players, but the unbalanced development of lower limb strength has not been effectively improved, and the overall effect on the improvement of the special bouncing power of college male basketball players is general.(3)Comparing the post-experimental test results of the experimental group and the control group,it can be seen that there is no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the jumping height of the assisted single foot, and the improvement is small. In the remaining four touch height tests, the experimental group’s performance and the improvement rate were better than the control group, and there was a significant difference. This indicates that the weak lateral leg strength training can effectively improve the unbalanced lower limb strength development of college male basketball players, and the scores of in situ double-legged jump touch height, stride double-legged jump touch height, assisted double-legged jump touch height and the average height of three consecutive vertical jumps can be significantly improved, which helps the overall development of special bounce strength of college male basketball players. |
