With the continuous reform of the current basic education curriculum,the teaching of big concepts has attracted the attention of art teachers and social education scholars.Starting with the development of students’ ability,the cultivation of high-level thinking,and the improvement of art literacy,the big concept teaching is based on the value orientation of "clarify ing the connotation of the big concept of art,drawing the design of the big unit of art,and leveraging the practice of the big art teaching",taking the "curriculum standard" as the key,and "subject literacy" as the body,to form a rational understanding and clarify the focus on literacy,change the classroom,and improve the ability.This paper takes green life as the theme,and designs a unit course of "Green Life-We Are in Action" to improve students’ interest in inquiry activities and learning transfer ability.Complete the performance task,and then improve the core quality of art.This study consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background and significance of the topic selection,domestic and foreign research status,research ideas and research methods.The second part is the theoretical basis,clarifying the meaning of the big concept and the big concept of art,Introduce the connotation and framework of reverse instructional design,and analyze the feasibility of applying it to teaching.The third section is the investigation and analysis of the implementation of the big concept,and the fourth section is the curriculum design of the art unit in junior high school based on the big concept.The fifth section is the reflection and prospect of art teaching in junior high school based on concept.The big concept teaching can activate students’ cognition and action,cultivate new art skills,stimulate students’ initiative,depth and breadth of art learning,and realize the essential understanding of art unit design;Through the layout of teaching network,refining the learning and teaching model,effectively promoting the reform of learning and teaching methods;It has promoted the optimization of teachers’ abilities,the specialization of teams and the specialization of classes;It has formed a wide range of positive effects in the academic,teaching and social fields,and has promoted the reform of art learning and teaching methods.
