| Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022)clearly puts forward that Synthesis and practical activities are the main path to form students’ core mathematics literacy,and points out that project-type learning can be adopted in the field of "Synthesis and practical" in junior middle school.Educators and researchers have given a lot of suggestions on how to implement the curriculum in the field of "synthesis and practice" of junior middle school mathematics from the perspective of practice and theory respectively,but there are still many obstacles in the actual teaching process.At the same time,the research shows that there are few researches on the application of project-based learning in the field of "synthesis and practice" of junior middle school mathematics,and the research contents and methods need to be further expanded.Firstly,this paper analyzes the research status of project-based learning and "synthesis and practice" of junior middle school mathematics,by using literature analysis method,defines the concepts of project-based learning and "synthesis and practice" of junior middle school mathematics,and expounds the feasibility of applying project-based learning to the field of "synthesis and practice" of junior middle school mathematics,Secondly,by dint of questionnaire survey and interview,the current application status of project-based learning in the field of "synthesis and practice" of junior middle school mathematics was studied from the aspects of cognition,implementation and influencing factors.Through data analysis,it is found that teachers and students who have been exposed to project-based learning have high recognition and satisfaction with it.Therefore,relevant training of project-based learning should be strengthened for teachers and students.At the same time,the following problems are also found:(1)the project theme is not reasonable and the operable path is lacking;(2)Insufficient driving effect and deviation in the implementation process;(3)The evaluation subject is not diversified enough and the evaluation system is too simple;(4)Students lack practical experience and have large differences in levels.Finally,Based on the results of questionnaire and interview,corresponding improvement strategies are proposed:(1)Design projects according to local conditions based on the learning situation of mathematics;(2)Stimulating students’ learning initiative with driving questions;(3)Use project tasks to build "scaffolding" for students;(4)Pay attention to the process of project activities and pay attention to performance evaluation.The paper summarizes the implementation steps of applying project-based learning to the "synthesis and practice" field of junior middle school mathematics: project theme selection;Project objective determination;Driving problem design;Implementation of project activities;Evaluation of project results.Furthermore,the project learning case design is carried out by taking the first volume of the seventh grade edition of Beijing Normal University,"Concern about the Aging Population",the second volume of the eighth grade edition,"A Model in Life" and the first volume of the ninth grade edition,"Making visual Charts",as examples. |
