The teaching evaluation of primary school teachers is an important part of teacher management in primary schools of compulsory education.It is not only an important means to ensure the quality of school education and teaching and promote the professional development of teachers,but also plays a key role in the process of school management from " management " to " governance " and further improving the management level.At present,in the practice of primary school teachers ’ teaching evaluation,too much emphasis is placed on the management function of evaluation to teachers,and the teaching evaluation of reward and punishment teachers is still dominant.This traditional school management concept directly affects the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in evaluation and improve teaching,and also restricts the improvement of school teaching,management level and teachers ’ professional development.Therefore,accelerating the construction and continuous improvement of modern primary school teachers ’ teaching evaluation mechanism is an urgent and critical step in school management.This study takes the current situation of primary school teachers ’ teaching evaluation in X district as a research case,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,starting from the perspective of school management,from the six dimensions of teachers ’ teaching evaluation purpose,subject,content,method,standard and result to analyze the implementation of primary school teachers ’ teaching evaluation in X district.Combined with the theory of developmental education evaluation,this paper discusses the optimization strategy of improving the teaching evaluation level of primary school teachers in X district,in order to provide reference for school management departments to better carry out teaching evaluation.The survey found that the main problems in the current teaching evaluation practice of primary school teachers in X District are : the purpose of evaluation focuses on reward and punishment evaluation;single evaluation subject;the evaluation content pays too much attention to the teaching effect;the evaluation method is mainly quantified and relatively single;the lack of evaluation criteria is unreasonable;the evaluation results are less effective.The reason is that there are problems in school management : the concept of reward and punishment evaluation of managers is backward;managers ignore the evaluation power of other evaluation subjects;the evaluation content does not consider the comprehensiveness of promoting teacher development;the value orientation of the evaluation method is mainly ’instrumental rationality ’;the formulation of evaluation criteria lacks innovation;the evaluation results are in the form.Finally,it puts forward the optimization strategy of primary school teachers ’ teaching evaluation in X district : correctly grasping the value orientation of evaluation and implementing developmental teachers ’ teaching evaluation;the school takes multiple measures to establish a diversified teacher teaching evaluation subject;build a complete teacher teaching evaluation system,focusing on the comprehensiveness of the evaluation content;combining qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods to comprehensively promote the professional development of primary school teachers;to formulate diversified primary school teachers ’ teaching evaluation standards with development orientation,and to promote teaching with evaluation;timely feedback the evaluation results and encourage teachers to self-reflect and improve teaching. |
