The 2022 edition of the Chinese curriculum and the vigorous development of new internet media are both calling for the exploration of cross media creative expression assignments.Enriching students’ homework types and designing cross media creative expression assignments are of great significance for improving students’ initiative and enthusiasm in homework.This study takes a class of students in the second grade of Yuci No.1 Middle School as the practice object,using the method of practical research,through text analysis,interviews,and other methods to investigate the learning situation;Design cross media creative expression assignments based on the creative expression evaluation indicators proposed by Robert et al.,summarize strategies through practice,and form conclusions.This study mainly includes the following aspects:1.Clarify the connotation of cross media creative expression,conduct a specific analysis of cross media creative expression assignments from three aspects: design purpose,implementation path,and implementation effect.By integrating creative expression evaluation theory with junior high school students’ psychological development level,adjust and form a cross media creative expression evaluation scale suitable for junior high school language proficiency.2.Design cross media creative expression assignments.Firstly,the text analysis method is used to understand the students’ learning situation.Secondly,the interview method is used to investigate the reasons for students’ insufficient creative expression ability in traditional homework.Then,based on literature research,the principles for designing cross media creative expression homework are proposed.Finally,the cross media creative expression homework is designed based on teaching objectives,media theory,and the connotation of cross media creative expression.3.Implementation of cross media creative expression assignments.Taking a class from Yuci No.1 Middle School as the practice object,the implementation of cross media creative expression assignments is divided into three parts: preparation before implementation,guidance during implementation,and evaluation after implementation.4.Propose strategies for designing and implementing cross media creative expression assignments.Based on practice,the strategies for the design and implementation of cross media creative expression assignments are summarized as follows: the assignment design closely aligns with teaching objectives,creates authentic new media situations,enriches cross media creative expression forms,builds a network communication and display platform,and improves the scientific evaluation mechanism.
