In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,there were multiple references to historical initiative,historical consciousness,and historical confidence,and it was proposed to study the history of the CPC,the history of the People’s Republic of China,the history of reform and opening up,and the history of development of socialism well.The "Four Histories" records the glorious history of the CPC’s unremitting struggle for the Chinese people,contains the strong spiritual power of the spiritual pedigree of the CPC people,including the great spirit of party building,shows the bright road and correct direction of the world’s socialist development,and guides the party and the people to achieve the goal of building a modern socialist country with the wisdom of the Marxist truth.In the new era,universities are important cultural positions that adhere to the socialist direction coeducation and cultivate talents for the Party and the country.College students are an important force in building a socialist modernized country and a hope for national prosperity and national rejuvenation.Therefore,universities should prioritize the study and education of the "Four Histories" as a key task in ideological and political education,continuously promote the study and education of the "Four Histories",and help college students grasp the "button" of the "Four Histories",so that they can clarify the historical development context,draw wisdom and spiritual motivation in studying the "Four Histories",adhere to their original aspirations in looking back on history,take on missions in the new era and new journey,and continuously enhance their historical initiative and struggle ability.In the long-term ideological and political education work,universities have gradually established a "ten major education system" with curriculum,scientific research,practice,culture,network,psychology,management,service,financial aid,and organization as the main work direction.This study focuses on the aspects of curriculum education,extracurricular practical education,network education,and the construction of the "Four Histories" education team.This study conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews on the current situation and effectiveness of the "Four Histories" education in Jiangxi universities,to understand the basic knowledge of university students about the "Four Histories",the main channels and areas of the "Four Histories" education in universities,and to verify the hypothesis that students would generate "emotional understanding" and "interactive willingness" in the process of learning the "Four Histories".The questionnaire survey provides a foundation for this study to analyze the current situation and existing problems of the "Four Histories" education in Jiangxi universities and propose innovative solutions.Based on observations and survey questionnaires from previous research,it can be concluded that the "Four Histories" education work in Jiangxi universities has achieved certain results.However,in actual university "Four Histories" education work,there are still problems such as insufficient effectiveness in ideological and political classroom "Four Histories" education,single "Four Histories" education activities in the second classroom,insufficient utilization of network platform education advantages,and failure to fully utilize the advantages of network platform education,and the lack of a formal "Four Histories" education framework for all staff.After conducting theoretical analysis,practical research,identifying and analyzing problems in the education of the "Four Histories" in universities,this article believes that universities should build the "main channel" of the "Four Histories" classroom and rely on the second classroom to construct a diverse learning matrix that includes "Red Associations" "Red Activities" "Red Eminence" and "Red Bases",Enriching the carriers of online "Four Histories" education,constructing interactive online learning communities,and optimizing the "Four Histories" education team to strengthen and improve the work of "Four Histories" education in universities,thereby improving the effectiveness of "Four Histories" education and truly implementing the fundamental task of moral education in universities.
