The Rupture And Reconstruction Of Corporate Social Capital Under The Founder's Leaving

Cases of control contests have occurred in recent years.Sometimes,The superior of the equity ratio cannot win the control in the hands of the superior of social capital,and social capital has played an increasingly important role.As a result,a large number of people are beginning to value social capital.In a company with a founder,in order to gain control of the enterprise,the venture capital investor with an equity advantage has launched an attack on the founder's social capital,and thus won the battle for control.After the founder's departure,the social capital that originally belonged to the founder is no longer willing or difficult to be used by the company again.In order to prevent the break of corporate social capital in the future and know how to prevent the corporate value from being damaged for a long time after the break,the deep-seated reasons for the break of corporate social capital,the internal mechanism of corporate social capital break and reconstruction,and how to rebuild corporate social capital quickly appear especially important.This article selects the perspective of social capital,and sorts out the existing literature to construct a theoretical framework with joint strength,asset specificity,and corporate social capital fit as core concepts.And combined with the case of Shanghai Jahwa,we have analyzed the deep-seated causes of corporate social capital disruption,the internal mechanism of disruption and reconstruction,and how to reconstruct corporate social capital quickly.Finally we put forward the strategy of reconstructing corporate social capital.The research finds that higher asset specificity and corporate social capital fit are the deep-seated reasons for corporate social capital disruption.The order of corporate social capital breakdown follows the order of asset specificity from high to low,while the order of restructuring is exactly the opposite.Corporate social capital fit is an important indicator that determines the harmfulness of corporate social capital disruption and the difficulty of reconstruction.According to the three dimensions of social capital,weakening the joint strength with the founder,and then strengthening the joint strength with the successor,is an important basis for quickly rebuilding corporate social capital.And according to this,six measures for rapid reconstruction of corporate social capital are proposed.
