In today’s world all kinds of information has of dispute,the geographical phenomenon to see things layer,and geography teaching requires for a limited time to choose the most core teach students knowledge,the most valuable skills,so in geography teaching,the teachers only based on the discipline nature,can accurately grasp the geographical discipline curriculum content and the main core knowledge,Using the most important and valuable basic knowledge to promote the development of students’ ability,based on the above situation,the new curriculum standard clearly proposed to promote the structure of subject content by the concept of discipline.It is an important means to transform knowledge into ability and an important way to cultivate discipline core accomplishment.Core literacy is a comprehensive expression of basic knowledge,basic ability and attitude of a subject,which needs to be cultivated consistently.Important subject concepts,subject thoughts and methods in geography teaching also need to be planned and step-by-step learning path.Unit teaching,as the basic unit of teaching activities,can connect semesters and class hours,and integrate curriculum and teaching content,improve the traditional class hours easy to split knowledge-the short board,so as to help the construction of core literacy.When unit teaching reorganizes and optimizes knowledge,it must follow the relation between teaching contents,which requires effective unit teaching to be carried out around big idea.This study mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method and experimental research method.On the basis of combing the literature related to the grand concept and unit teaching design,the internal compatibility between the grand concept and unit teaching design is clarified,and the relevant concepts and theoretical basis are summarized.Then,a questionnaire about the cognition and practice of unit teaching design was designed to investigate the geography teachers of front-line senior high schools,providing direction and reference for the subsequent exploration of the path of unit teaching design.Unit to promote the high school geography teaching design of further towards the practical level,in this paper,based on the big idea of the path in the high school geography unit teaching design,and its real application in high school geography teaching practice,through the experimental study on experimental classes geography study,test this path can really promote the development of the students geography,promote the landing of core literacy.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Through literature review,it is found that organizational unit teaching design from the perspective of big idea has become a new trend in current geography teaching,and there is internal compatibility between big idea and unit teaching design,which both point to core heart accomplishment.(2)through the questionnaire survey found: first-line teachers for education value and significance of unit teaching design were higher,but the actual practice of is mainly influenced by the teaching progress and teaching long and is a bit poor,and for big disadvantages with the concept of cognitive situation for big idea and the combination of unit teaching design cognition is inadequate.(3)Based on the high consistency between big idea and unit teaching,explore the design path of unit teaching based on big idea: determine the content of unit teaching,sort out the general concept and concept system,and conduct unit teaching based on the knowledge level of big idea.Among them,unit teaching based on knowledge hierarchy of big idea includes determining unit teaching theme based on big idea,analyzing teaching elements,setting unit learning objectives,forming unit key problems,designing unit learning activities,setting unit teaching evaluation and so on.(4)the experimental method is used to test based on the big idea to unit high school geography teaching design process is applied to the practice of teaching effect,in the water on the earth a unit as an example to carry out the concrete teaching practice,the result shows that the overall unit teaching design based on the big idea can promote students to construct knowledge system,help the formation of students’ core literacy.Therefore,the unit teaching design process based on the big idea proposed in this study can provide some ideas for the teaching design of high school geography teachers,which has reference value for the implementation of core literacy and is beneficial to the improvement of classroom efficiency.
