With the promulgation of the "Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)",the subject of art curriculum and its teaching research also presents new characteristics and trends."Curriculum integration" is an important trend of current research,aiming to break the separation between disciplines,students and society,and develop students’ core literacy,while "big concept" is also concerned because it can reflect the core literacy of disciplines.If the integrated curriculum is the "engine" of the teaching reform,then the big concept can become the "fuel" of the curriculum integration,and in the process of practice,it will lead to the cultivation of students’ essential character and key abilityThrough literature review and case analysis,the author found that at present,there is a lack of theoretical construction and practical strategy research on the integration of curriculum with big concepts,and there is little attention paid to the development of the curriculum in junior high school.Therefore,this thesis takes the subject of fine arts as the main body,and takes the big concept as the integrated implementation of curriculum integration.The theoretical research of the thesis consists of three parts.The first part discusses the value of integrating the curriculum with the big concept from the three subjects of discipline,students and society: promoting students’ understanding of art knowledge and forming the overall concept of discipline;Promote students’ independent knowledge connection and develop comprehensive practical ability;Promote students’ exploration of social life and improve their ability of migration and application.In the second part,it puts forward two important perspectives to build the integrated curriculum concept: based on the knowledge system of art discipline and the core literacy of art curriculum,matching the knowledge connotation of other disciplines and the core literacy of the discipline to build the concept.The third part discusses the form of the integrated curriculum under the integration of the big concept: not only the scope of integration needs to be considered horizontally and vertically,but also the goal of integration needs to be considered from knowledge to ability and then to literacy,so as to form interdisciplinary teaching based on core literacy.The practical research of this paper consists of two parts.The first part is to construct a teaching mode of integrating the curriculum with the big concept: linking the life experience and determining the unit theme;Related to subject knowledge,sort out core concepts;Design driving problems and integrate curriculum objectives;Build a learning framework and deepen the teaching content;Optimize teaching exhibition and evaluation,return to real life,and form a closed-loop path from life to life.The second part focuses on the teaching design and teaching reflection of the unit around the teaching mode in the form of cases.Finally,this paper summarizes the main research conclusions of the value,form and mode of the integrated curriculum and the teaching practice research.At the same time,the development of follow-up related research is prospected.
