Today,with the continuous development of economy and modern technology,the content of students’ learning is no longer limited to the accumulation of knowledge,but pays more attention to the quality improvement of knowledge,and pays attention to the cultivation of students’ way of thinking in teaching.The new curriculum reform pays more attention to cultivating students’ higher-order thinking in teaching,and the teaching mode of teachers is also changing.In order to cultivate students who adapt to the future social development,it is necessary to constantly cultivate students’ higher-order thinking in teaching.Cultivating senior high school students’ higher-order thinking in chemistry is the fundamental purpose of "cultivating people with virtue",which is beneficial for students to adapt to the new college entrance examination.First of all,on the basis of the predecessors,this study combs and analyzes the existing literature,with Bloom’s cognitive taxonomy,constructivism theory,Socratic midwifery theory as theoretical support,and with literature method,questionnaire survey method,data statistics method,interview method and other research methods.Second,both at home and abroad on ATDE(“Asking”,“Thinking”,“Doing”,“evaluation”)mode and the higher-order thinking about literature carding analysis,in order to understand the status quo,combined with the existing research literature on the connotation of chemical higher-order thinking,and design status questionnaire to understand the current high status of the cultivation of the students and teachers of higher order thinking.Thirdly,according to the results of the questionnaire survey,it analyzes which factors will affect the cultivation of high school students’ higher order chemical thinking,puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies,and designs the teaching principles and application links of training high school students’ higher order chemical thinking based on ATDE model.Finally,in order to explore the feasibility of ATDE mode to cultivate students’ higher-order thinking in chemistry,this study selected two parallel classes in a middle school in Jinzhong City,Shanxi Province as experimental research objects.According to ATDE teaching mode,curriculum standards,teaching materials and teaching difficulties,the teaching design is carried out.Three teaching cases,namely,the nature of chlorine gas,ferric salt and ferrous salt,and the nature of atomic structure and elements,are selected for teaching practice.The results and achievements of the pre-and post-test questionnaire are used to test the effectiveness of ATDE mode in cultivating students’ higher-order chemical thinking.Practice has proved that the ATDE model has certain effect in cultivating students’ higher-order thinking.The questionnaire survey results show that the students in the experimental class have certain improvement in the thinking of analyzing,evaluating and solving problems.The ATDE model is conducive to cultivating students’ higher-order thinking in chemistry and promoting the change of teachers’ ideas.
