Objective: physical activity and there is a close relationship,glucolipid metabolic index,this study mainly analyzes teachers in colleges and universities of physical activity and glucolipid metabolism index,university teachers’ physical activity and correlation between glucolipid metabolism index,helps to provide reasonable exercise scheme for college teachers,university teachers’ health consciousness.Methods: A total of 589 teachers from Shanxi Normal University were selected as the experimental objects of this study.International physical activity questionnaire(long volume)was used to investigate the physical activity of college teachers in a week,and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the results of physical activity survey.According to the physical examination results of college teachers,the chi square test was carried out for overweight,obesity,glucose metabolism and lipid metabolism abnormalities of college teachers.Correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between physical activity and BMI,FBG,TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C.Results :(1)Among the 589 college teachers surveyed,the percentage of low,medium and high levels of physical activity were 47.7%,37.7% and 14.6%,respectively.The proportion of low level of physical activity in 40-44 years old group was 22.4%;There were significant differences(P<0.05)and very significant differences(P<0.01)in walking amount and high intensity physical activity of college teachers in weekly physical activity.The physical activity levels of male teachers aged 55-59 were significantly different from those of female teachers aged 55-59(P <0.05).The physical activity levels of female teachers aged55-59 were significantly different from those of male teachers aged 25-29 and 50-54(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the physical activity levels of female teachers in other age groups(P< 0.01).(2)The detection rate of overweight and obesity among college teachers was 32.9% and 5.8%,and the abnormal detection rate of FBG index was 10.2%,TG index was 33.7%,HDL-C index was 47.5%,LDL-C index was 63.5%;The detection rate of overweight and obesity,abnormal TG index,abnormal TC index and abnormal LDL-C index of male teachers were higher than that of female teachers.The detection rate of each index reached the peak in 35-44 years old college teachers.(3)Male teachers in universities: Low level of physical activity and TG,HDL-C very weak correlation index(r =-0.18,r = 0.145),moderate physical activity level and BMI,FBG,LDL-C indicators there is a weak negative correlation relationship(r =-0.218,r =-0.211,r=-0.320)was positively correlated with HDL-C(r=0.223).High physical activity level was negatively correlated with BMI and LDL-C(r=-0.126,r=-0.175),FBG and TG(r =-0.406,r=-0.449)and HDL-C(r=0.269).Female teachers: There was a strong negative correlation between moderate physical activity level and TG index(r=-0.612),and there was a medium negative correlation between LDL-C and FBG index(r=-0.470,r=-0.423)had a very weak positive correlation with HDL-C(r=0.180),and there was a weak negative correlation between high intensity physical activity level and TG,FBG and BMI(r=-0.312,r=-0.342,r=-0.220)had a weak positive correlation with HDL-C(r=0.334).Conclusion :(1)the physical inactivity of college teachers is more serious,the amount of physical activity of male teachers is higher than that of female teachers,and the physical inactivity of college teachers aged 35-44 is more serious.(2)The overweight and obesity situation of male teachers in colleges and universities is more serious than that of female teachers.The abnormal detection rates of TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C glucose and lipid metabolism indexes of male teachers are higher than that of female teachers.(3)The physical activity level of college teachers was negatively correlated with BMI,TG,TC and LDL-C,and positively correlated with HDL-C.Physical activity can protect the physical health of college teachers.
