At present,cheerleading teaching in Colleges and universities generally adopts the traditional teaching mode,that is,teachers explain and demonstrate in class and students practice.This mode has played an important role in improving the teaching quality of cheerleading,but at the same time,there are also problems such as insufficient students’ active learning,shortcomings in students’ ability training and high pressure on Teachers’ work.It seems that the proposal of divided classes can solve these problems well.The purpose of this study is to apply the split classroom in college cheerleading teaching,aiming to make a beneficial attempt for the teaching reform of College cheerleading,verify that the split classroom can better improve the teaching quality of cheerleading than the traditional classroom,and provide theoretical and practical guidance for college cheerleading teachers and even other project teachers to better complete the college sports teaching reform.Research methods:using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,experiment and mathematical statistics.Research object:the application of split classroom in cheerleading teaching in Colleges and universities was studied to improve the teaching quality.Two cheerleading optional classes of grade 2020 in a university in Chongqing were selected as the experimental subjects(30 in the experimental class and 30 in the control class).Through the 12 week teaching experiment,the changes in knowledge cognition,physical fitness,skills and sports character of the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment were compared.After the experiment,the students’ satisfaction with the split class was analyzed from the aspects of teaching methods,classroom atmosphere and teaching effects.Research results and conclusions:(1)After the experiment,the experimental class is significantly higher than the control class in the knowledge of cheerleading and the performance of sports skills examination.It shows that the application of bisection class in cheerleading teaching in Colleges and universities can promote students’ mastery of knowledge and acquisition of sports skills better than traditional class.(2)After the experiment,the general physical fitness and special physical fitness of the experimental class and the control class were improved,but the general physical fitness and special physical fitness of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class,indicating that the bisection class can better improve the general physical fitness and special physical fitness of students than the traditional class.(3)After the experiment,compared with the control class,there is a significant difference in self-confidence and unity and cooperation ability between the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment,which shows that cheerleading teaching with bisection classroom can better cultivate students’self-confidence and unity and cooperation ability than traditional classroom.(4)After the experiment,the satisfaction of the students in the experimental class was analyzed.The data showed that more than 90%of the students thought that the split class was better in the four aspects of teaching methods,classroom atmosphere,teaching effect and learning efficiency,and the overall satisfaction was very high.It shows that the teaching of Cheerleading in Colleges and universities is more popular with students than the traditional classroom.(5)The use of bisection class in cheerleading teaching in Colleges and universities is conducive to give full play to students’ subjectivity and reduce teachers’teaching burden.(6)The implementation of bisection class in cheerleading teaching in Colleges and universities challenges teachers’ professional ability;It puts forward requirements for students’ professional knowledge background.(7)When applying bisection class in cheerleading teaching in Colleges and universities,it is suggested to strengthen the improvement of teachers’ professional ability,improve students’ background learning of professional knowledge,Actively promoting the application of bisection class in cheerleading teaching in Colleges and Universities.
