A Study On Cultivation Of College Students In The New Era Social Consciousness Of Responsibility

The social consciousness of responsibility reflects not only self-consciousness but attitude orientation.To better fulfill their values,college students today need to develop strong social consciousness of responsibility.This is essential to achieve long-term national development as well.The cultivation of social consciousness of responsibility should be part of the ideological and political theory education in colleges and universities.This study takes the college students in the new era as the research object,oriented by the cultivation of college students’ social consciousness of responsibility in the new era,based on the Marxist theory on the relationship between individual and society,views on social responsibility in Chinese traditional culture,and Xi Jinping’s statements of responsibility of college students as the theoretical basis of this study.The empirical research is made by distributing the self-developed questionnaire College students’ social consciousness of responsibility and their influencing factors in the new era.The results reveal the most college students’ social consciousness of responsibility today,the changes in their social consciousness of responsibility,and the issues related to the social consciousness of responsibility.The findings suggest that most college students’ social consciousness of responsibility today is satisfactory on the whole,but much work needs to be done.At the same time,factors that affect the cultivation of the most college students’ social consciousness of responsibility today are discussed.By analyzing the issues with college students’ social consciousness of responsibility and related causes,this research concludes that it is necessary to cultivate college students’ social consciousness of responsibility today with diverse educational,cultural and institutional approaches,so that they can better service the needs of the Party,the nation and the Chinese people.
