Under the background of the reform of basic education and the rapid development of the times,the requirements for the development of high school biology teaching are getting higher and higher.High school biology teaching should be able to cultivate a reserve army of biotechnology talents for the country,enable students to have scientific inquiry ability,scientific thinking ability,and cultivate biological scientific literacy that accompanies students’ lifelong learning.With the deepening of research on complex learning and instructional design at home and abroad,it has become a trend to conduct holistic instructional design for complex learning,and the 4C/ID model is a good choice.The 4C/ID model is a holistic task model for complex learning proposed by Prof.Jaroen J.G.van Merrienboer from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.4C stands for "Four Elements",including learning tasks,related knowledge,supporting procedures and special exercises;ID stands for "Instructional Design".This thesis aims to explore the application effect of high school biology instructional design based on the 4C/ID model,closely combines the requirements of cultivating students’ biological scientific literacy,analyzes and compares traditional instructional design models;analyze the problems faced by high school biology teaching under the traditional instructional design mode,fully consider the feasibility of high school biology instructional design based on 4C/ID model,and put forward the principles and procedures of high school biology instructional design based on 4C/ID model;preliminary design a high school biology instructional design case based on the 4C/ID model,and apply it to teaching practice to test its application effect,so as to provide reference and reference for high school biology teachers.This thesis adopted the literature research method,the questionnaire survey method and the case analysis method.(1)By consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literatures,understood the research status of the 4C/ID model at home and abroad,and had a comprehensive understanding of "complex learning","overall instructional design","4C/ID model" to make a conceptual definition,consolidate theoretical foundations such as complexity theory,holism,constructivism theory,humanism theory,and 4C/ID model theory,and analyzed and compared five traditional instructional design models.(2)Through the questionnaire survey method,investigated the current situation of biology teaching in the front-line of senior high schools,analyzed the problems existing in the traditional instructional design mode of teaching mode based on teachers’ teaching,and in order to improve the teaching effect,the inevitability of the high school biology teaching based on the 4C/ID model was introduced.(3)Starting from the feasibility,put forward the principle and process of applying the 4C/ID model in high school biology teaching,adopted the case analysis method,took "The Structure of DNA" as an example,and designed an instructional design case based on the 4C/ID model.(4)Applied the instructional design case to the teaching practice,and used the questionnaire survey method before and after the test,the comparison of the after-school test questions and the interview method to analyze the application effect of the 4C/ID model in high school biology teaching.It provided a reference for front-line biology teachers to apply the 4C/ID model in teaching.According to the results of teaching practice,this thesis puts forward the principles of high school biology instructional design based on the 4C/ID model: holistic principle,student-centered,teacher-led,practical principle,and information-based principle;and the general process of instructional design:Analysis stage(analysis of teaching objectives,analysis of teaching content,analysis of learners),design stage(design of learning tasks,design of relevant knowledge,design of supporting programs,design of special exercises)and evaluation stage(teacher evaluation,student evaluation,etc.),designed and implemented a high school biology teaching case "The Structure of DNA" based on the 4C/ID model.The practical results show that the application of the 4C/ID model can stimulate students’ interest in high school biology,help to cultivate students’ autonomous exploration ability,and effectively improve the teaching effect.However,it still needs to be improved when applied to normalized teaching.To be more in line with the teaching practice of the college entrance examination,it should be more in line with the current level of students.
