| The 2017 edition of mathematics curriculum Standards for senior high schools makes it clear that mathematics core literacy is the concentrated embodiment of mathematics curriculum objectives,and unit teaching design is an important part of the implementation of core literacy.Unit teaching design to teaching content integrity,outstanding teaching content of the main line,to avoid teaching content fragmentation,better meet the new standard,new materials and the requirements of the new college entrance examination,the cultivation of the core effectively implementing students’ mathematics accomplishment,therefore,a line of teachers in the teaching process should pay attention to the unit teaching based on the core literacy.This study selects "application of function" in senior high school mathematics to carry out unit teaching design research based on core literacy.Firstly,literature research method is adopted to study,analyze and summarize the contents of "unit teaching design","mathematics core literacy" and "application of function".Secondly,through the interview method,teachers’ understanding of unit teaching design,students’ learning in function modules and the cultivation of mathematics core literacy are understood from the side.Then through the core literacy test paper from the positive analysis of the students’ specific learning situation and mathematics core literacy level,the results show that the students’ foundation is weak,the core literacy level is low;Finally,combined with the "application of functions" related questions in the college entrance examination papers in recent years,the new curriculum standard and new teaching materials are analyzed by text analysis method.Based on the overall optimization of theoretical deep learning,current multi-dimensional survey,curriculum standard and teaching materials,the teaching design is carried out in accordance with the basic steps of unit teaching design.The overall mathematical thinking and methods as the main line,combined with information technology "zero of function and the solution of equation","using dichotomy to find the approximate solution of equation" for teaching design,improve students’ mathematical operation,intuitive imagination and other literacy;"Application of Function Model" adopts the teaching design of academic degree plan,paying attention to the learning process of students,providing clear ideas for students’ independent learning,so as to cultivate students’ mathematical abstraction and modeling literacy.Combined with the SOLO classification theory and the new curriculum standard to divide the core literacy level,the scoring standard of the test paper is set and the level is divided.The independent sample test of the pre-test results showed that there was no significant difference in the core literacy level between the class and the class,so the two classes could be selected as research objects.The classroom test after the implementation of unit teaching showed that the students had a good grasp of knowledge.Through the analysis of the results of homework after class,the students’ ability of operation,abstraction and modeling was strengthened.After the general teaching of the class,the two classes were respectively issued post-test papers.Through horizontal and vertical comparative analysis of pre-test and post-test results,it is found that there are significant differences in the level of mathematics core literacy of the students in the two classes.Overall,the core literacy of the students in the experimental class develops to a higher level,and the students whose mathematics operation and logical reasoning literacy reach level 3 and above increases from 4.5% to 29.5% in the pre-test.The students whose mathematical abstraction and visual imagination accomplishment reached level 3 or above increased from 27.3% to 59.1%;The students whose mathematical modeling literacy reached level 3 or above increased from 6.8% to 13.6%;The core literacy level of the control class had no significant change compared with the pre-test.Unit teaching makes the whole teaching process more comprehensive,coherent and systematic,which is conducive to the construction of students’ overall knowledge.It can be found that the transformation thought,the combination of number and form thought,function and equation thought and other mathematical ideas can be shown in students’ problem-solving,students’ ability to mathematically solve practical problems has been improved,and unit teaching can effectively cultivate students’ core literacy in mathematics.In addition,unit teaching based on core literacy can also promote teachers’ own development;Therefore,unit teaching should be effectively used to promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy in mathematics. |
