With the deepening of curriculum reform,more and more scholars invest in the research of "core literacy" and "unit teaching".As an important way to cultivate students’ core quality of mathematics,unit teaching requires teachers to look at the teaching content from an overall perspective,so that students can master the knowledge they have learned more systematically.As an important part of high school mathematics,the basic elementary function contains a lot of mathematical ideas and methods.The teaching of this part is helpful to cultivate students’ core mathematical literacy.From the perspective of cultivating students’ core mathematics literacy,this paper further studies the unit teaching design of basic elementary functions.First,the author introduces the research background of this paper,and introduces the research status of mathematics core literacy,unit teaching and basic primary function unit teaching,and expounds the necessity,purpose and significance of this paper.Secondly,the author defines the concept of mathematics core literacy,unit teaching design and basic elementary function,and also gives the theoretical basis for guiding the unit teaching design in this paper.Then,the comparative analysis method is used to analyze the mathematical content of the basic elementary functions,the questionnaire survey method is used to analyze the students’ learning situation,and the curriculum standards,teaching materials,key difficulties and teaching methods are also analyzed in detail.The reliability and effectiveness of the questionnaire are analyzed to ensure the scientificity of the survey results.Finally,the author takes the analysis of teaching elements as the teaching objectives,teaching arrangement and suggestions based on the constructivism theory and Bruner learning theory.On the basis of unit teaching objectives and combined with the principle of teaching process optimization,two teaching designs are given,which reflects the significance of unit teaching design for the cultivation of students’ mathematical core literacy through specific teaching design.Through the unit teaching design of basic elementary functions,teachers can have a more systematic and accurate control of the teaching content,help teachers improve the overall teaching efficiency,cultivate student’s core mathematics literacy,and finally promote the comprehensive development of students.
