Being a manager,organizer and educator of a class,a head teacher serves as a coordinator of all departments,juggling all kinds of work in the school.A head teacher plays a hugely important role in promoting the growth of students and the development of the school.Faced with the endless problems of students and class management,the professional growth of a head teacher is the trend of social development.With the aim of contributing to the equal education and a balanced development of education resources,so as to forge groups of more excellent head teachers in schools,the expert head teacher studios came into being as expected.They,serving as a key platform for the growth and development of head teachers,operate well in scientific research and training.However,the expert head teacher studios,as a new thing,have no ready-made model to follow in the process of development.At present,there is very little research on the expert head teacher studios.Research involved mainly explores the expert head teacher studios from the aspects of their nature and function,and has not yet studied the status quo and countermeasures from the perspective of the hosts of the studios.In this thesis,in-depth interviews were conducted among three groups of people including studio hosts,studio members and students,along with non-studio personnel,not only learning about the status quo of the expert head teacher studios but also expounding the the achievements and problems during the development.As the survey shows,the expert head teacher studios have construction equipment,system guarantee and development.However,from the perspective of the Fifth Discipline proposed by Peter Senge,it was found that with the insufficient guarantee conditions of the studios,hosts play a passive role in fund management.Then,the studio staffing is unreasonable,and people in the studios have much work pressure and poor scientific research ability.Additionally,the studios are weak in system thinking and long-term development.With the studio H in Jieyang city as a development practice,this thesis not only learned about how studio H solved the common problems encountered in the construction process,by collecting original data,on-site observation and multiple interviews,but also explored the way that studio H applied the relevant theoretical knowledge of the Fifth Discipline to practice.Finally,based on the research data and from the perspective of the host,the sustainable development strategies for the expert head teacher studios were put forward,with the following seven suggestions mentioned.First,develop the proper sense of sustainable development.Second,realize the importance of material foundation and school support.Third,emphasize the principle of voluntary participation in the studio.Fourth,establish an effective working mechanism.Fifth,give full play to the functions in scientific research and training.Sixth,broaden the ways of online and offline publicity together with the demonstration.Seventh,work out a new way of regional education,teaching and research.
