| As the organizer of class work,the mentor of class construction and the leader of students’ healthy growth,the head teacher has a special position in the process of student cultivation and is the backbone of the implementation of comprehensive education.As China’s basic education is gradually moving towards the competency era,the development of the key competencies of head teachers cannot be ignored.The key competencies of primary school class teachers is the key competency and character that the primary school teacher should possess to promote the development of students in the context of era changing.From the perspective of the role requirements of the head teacher,students’ development guidance,class organization construction,professional emotion and development are required for head teachers.The improvement of the key competencies of primary school class teachers can be of great significance to promotion of the professional development of class teachers and physical and mental health development of primary school students,both of which contributes greatly to the moral education and talent cultivation,from this angle it can be said that promotion of the key competencies of primary school class teachers is of vital importance.By applying research methods of documents,questionnaires and interviews,it takes the Urban Primary School of Y City as the research sample and teachers who hold the post of class teacher in primary schools as the research object,a deep inquiry into the development status of primary school class teachers’ key competencies were carried out in this thesis.According to the survey,it is showing that primary school class teachers have high competencies in students’ life guidance,study guidance and self-development;good competencies in class construction;the competencies of students’ evaluation need to be strengthened,primary school class teachers’ coordination and cooperation competencies need to be improved,there is room for improvement in occupational emotion,etc.The main cause of occurrence of such problems lies in not only a lack of unified standard guidelines,which leads to diversity in cognition of class teachers’ responsibilities between all sides,but also a lack of effective key competencies development mechanism and system of encouragement.To further improve key competencies of primary school class teachers,it is necessary to establish unified standard guidelines and determine the segregation of duties of primary school class teachers;establish a series of standards based on the mechanism of key competencies cultivation;establish class teacher rank promotion system,improve their honor system,and implement the incentive mechanism.At last,class teachers’ self-development consciousness should be enhanced so that they keep continuously developing inner motivation. |
