Task-based writing is a new form of composition proposition that has emerged in recent years and has attracted attention and heated discussions in middle school Chinese education and teaching.Compared with traditional propositional composition or material composition,task-based writing is a task-driven composition.On the basis of materials triggering thinking and stimulating desire for writing,by adding task-based instructions,it focuses on the function of test questions to guide writing and increases writing skills.Pertinence,it is a new form of composition proposition that enables examinees to identify and analyze key concepts in real situations,and to make theoretical arguments in multi-dimensional comparisons.Task-based writing has the characteristics of specific situation design,specific writing tasks,clear writing identity and audience,and practical writing style.The real situation refers to the environment and background that teachers create for students’ activities in the classroom,and the students can experience it and trigger association and thinking.The real situation is closely related to task-based writing and is an indispensable element of task-based writing.The creation of the task-based writing proposition is inseparable from the creation of the real situation,and the creation of the real situation guides and restricts the task-based writing.In the teaching of task-based writing in junior high schools,there are problems such as lack of real understanding of task-based writing,the dominant concept of traditional essay writing,the method of composition evaluation still follows the past,and teachers’ own lack of experience;in students’ writing,there is a lack of task-based writing.Task awareness,lack of reader awareness for task-based writing,and lack of style choice for task-based writing,etc.,the real situation solves the problems existing in junior high school task-based writing and opens up a new path for junior high school task-based writing teaching.Authentic situations help stimulate student interest;help develop writing resources;and help prepare students for the future.Using real situations to guide task-based writing teaching in junior high schools can use the creation of situations to design writing tasks that are close to the real life of students;provide guidance,and use situational scaffolding in the classroom to process writing teaching;improve standards and enrich evaluation forms to promote real situational task writing.Solve the problems of students "unwilling to write","how to write" and "after writing",so as to effectively improve the teaching effect of task-based writing in junior high school.
