The outbreak of the COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020 has brought a great impact to all walks of life in China,and social organizations are no exception.As an important part of social organizations and the main body of grassroots community governance,social work social organizations must actively participate in the fight against the epidemic,and first of all,they must overcome the negative impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.The survey shows that some social organizations have been affected by the epidemic in many aspects such as fundraising and project development.Therefore,this paper studies the survival strategies of social work social organizations in this new coronary pneumonia epidemic.It has important practical and practical implications.theoretical significance.Based on this background,based on the theory of organizational resilience,this paper uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to try to analyze the survival status of social work social organizations in X City under the background of the new crown pneumonia epidemic through the data collected by the questionnaire,and summarize the epidemic situation.During this period,the survival strategies and existing problems of social work social organizations were analyzed,and the reasons why social work social organizations were impacted by the new crown pneumonia epidemic were analyzed from the two major dimensions of hard ability and soft ability.The author adopts the method of sampling to conduct semi-structured interviews with 7 staff members from different social work social organizations as the interview objects.The study found that when social organizations responded to the public health emergency of the new crown pneumonia epidemic,the survival and development of some social work social organizations were negatively affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic.The strategies used by social organizations for survival: understanding the external environment,make full use of social relations,innovate the way social service projects are carried out or apply for extension,and cooperate with other organizations to fight the epidemic.Through interviews and summaries,the author found that the problems of survival strategies of social work social organizations in this epidemic are mainly insufficient resource resilience,professional resilience and organizational resilience.After further analysis of the interview data,it is found that social work social organizations have survival strategies.The main reasons for the problem are: insufficient ability to raise resources,insufficient asset appreciation ability,insufficient professional knowledge and professional ability,lack of crisis handling ability,insufficient selfregulation ability,and insufficient ability of personnel to establish social relations.This paper proposes three suggestions for social work social organizations to improve organizational resilience and optimize survival strategies: focus on diversified development,strengthen resource resilience,pay attention to talent construction,strengthen professional resilience,optimize management awareness,and strengthen organizational resilience.
