The Current Situation And Training Strategies Of College Students' Leadership Developmen

Leadership is one of the basic qualities that college students should have in the new era.In the face of fierce social competition,leadership should also become an important part of College Students’ quality education.Improving leadership is not only the development needs of college students themselves,but also the demands of sustainable development of colleges and universities and national strategic talent training.It is of great significance to realize the personal growth of college students and cultivate innovative talents.College Students’ leadership belongs to multi-dimensional concepts: emotional intelligence,leadership awareness,organization and management,teamwork,communication and coordination,decision-making ability,executive ability and innovation ability.Design the questionnaire on the current situation of College Students’ leadership and the interview outline,select students from different colleges of two universities in Shandong Province(Q University and L University)to conduct a questionnaire survey,select some students,student managers and teachers to conduct in-depth interviews,and use exploratory factor analysis to construct a "five-dimensional model of College Students’ leadership",namely emotional intelligence,practical ability,communication and cooperation ability,leadership awareness innovation ability.At the same time,it summarizes the overall situation of College Students’ leadership,and makes a statistical analysis on the differences of students’ leadership level.At present,the leadership level of college students is above the middle level,among which the leadership consciousness and innovation ability are the most lacking,and the emotional intelligence is the best;There are some differences in whether they have served as student cadres,learning situation,political outlook and family location.The main problems of College Students’ leadership are weak leadership consciousness and lack of leadership skills;Willing to innovate but insufficient ability;Unclear understanding of leadership and lack of theoretical knowledge;The leadership behavior lacks scientific and methodological problems,and deeply analyzes the causes of the problems,which are embodied in the lack of attention to leadership training,the lack of scientific leadership training system for college students,students’ neglect of leadership training and the influence of family factors.In view of the current problems and reasons of College Students’ leadership,this paper puts forward training strategies from four aspects: educational concept,training system,guarantee mechanism and resources.First,we need to update the concept of College Students’ leadership education.Improve the social attention to leadership,enhance the awareness of Cultivating College Students’ leadership,correct college students’ leadership values and stimulate their leadership awareness;Second,we need to build a leadership training system for college students.Formulate the objectives of College Students’ leadership training,improve the content of College Students’ leadership training,and explore the ways of College Students’ leadership training;Third,design the guarantee mechanism of College Students’ leadership training.Establish a specialized evaluation model,optimize the supervision and assessment mechanism,and improve the multi type incentive mechanism;Finally,comprehensively develop a variety of available resources,namely inter school,school enterprise,family and community resources.
