With the acceleration of globalization and the continuous development of science and technology,the production of new knowledge is presented in a more complex mode.Scientific research cooperation has become an important way to promote scientific progress and is increasingly valued by scholars.At present,China is speeding up the construction of "world-class universities" and "world-class disciplines",and disciplines are the basic elements of universities,so the study of disciplines is particularly important.There are huge differences among different disciplines,which will have a certain impact on the research cooperation behavior of university scholars,and conversely,the research cooperation behavior pattern of university scholars will promote the development of the discipline.Therefore,it is of great significance for knowledge production and discipline development to deeply study the research cooperation behavior patterns of university scholars of different disciplines.In terms of data collection and collation,four first-level disciplines of mathematics,mechanical engineering,philosophy and sociology are selected from science,engineering,humanities and social sciences.Core journals and CSSCI journal papers from 2000 to 2020 are used as data sources.By using social network analysis method,scholars of academic age as a starting point,will be divided into different stages,the development of college academic analysis of different subjects scholars in the research collaboration centricity,cluster coefficient and average degree of adjacent network characteristics,as well as different disciplines and academic age scholar’s research cooperation behavior patterns.In addition,the age distribution of collaborators and network characteristics in different time periods were compared.It is found that the research cooperation behavior of university scholars in different disciplines is significantly different,and the research cooperation behavior pattern has its own characteristics.The reasons for this phenomenon are further studied.First is their own attribute differences,disciplines of knowledge organization and attribute two layers of meaning,in terms of intellectual property,from the "hard-soft" and "pure-" two categories scientific knowledge can be divided into pure hard science and soft science,application hard science and soft science,because of disciplinary knowledge attributes which affect different scholars research cooperation behavior patterns;At the level of organizational attributes,the life of discipline organization is characterized by periodic stages,and the research cooperation modes of university scholars are different in different development stages.Secondly,the degree of development of the subject is different.The development of discipline is closely related to the demand of social development.The development of discipline will promote the development of society,while the demand of society will force the development of discipline.Different subjects need and enjoy different material base conditions,which to some extent affects the research cooperation behavior pattern of university scholars;Scholars have individual academic age,research direction,interest and style,and the difference of individual characteristics is one of the important factors that affect the research cooperation behavior pattern of scholars.Finally,based on the analysis of the reasons for the differences in the research cooperation behavior patterns of university scholars of different disciplines,the corresponding suggestions and opinions are put forward for the research cooperation patterns of each discipline in different stages.This study is of great significance in many aspects,in terms of theory,deepen and expand the scientific research cooperation of related research,university scholars from different disciplines to explore each subject of scientific research cooperation between behavior patterns as well as the changes of the law,and analyze the reason,the development of different disciplines in China is of great significance and reference value;In terms of practice,it provides useful suggestions for scholars of different disciplines to choose appropriate research cooperation objects and promote scientific research cooperation between scholars of different disciplines at different stages.
