| In recent years,with the development of Internet technology and information society,big data has been rapidly integrated into all walks of life,and continues to promote the transformation of various industries,including education,to the "Data-Driven paradigm".As an important asset to reform education and teaching,educational data plays an increasingly prominent role.Whether teachers can fully obtain,fully mine and effectively manage and use diversified education data is becoming more and more critical.The group of normal students largely determine the overall quality of teachers in the future.Data-driven teaching and precision teaching are vigorously calling on normal education to pay extensive attention to normal students’ data literacy.Throughout the research on data literacy at home and abroad,a generally recognized standard definition of data literacy has not been formed in the industry,and there is great room for improvement in the theoretical research and practical exploration of domestic data literacy.The research on data literacy model and ability system for normal students is relatively lack and has not formed a unified understanding.Based on this,this study systematically combs the existing relevant literature of data literacy at home and abroad,combined with the relevant theoretical basis such as DIKW pyramid model and taxonomy of educational objectives,and on the basis of clarifying the construction principles of model and ability system,through the systematic analysis,frequency statistics and reference of 22 typical literacy models and frameworks at home and abroad and a series of relevant documents of talent development in the 21 st century at home and abroad,The three-dimensional data literacy model and ability system of normal students are preliminarily constructed.The qualitative and quantitative evaluation and correction of the ability system are carried out through Delphi method and questionnaire survey method respectively.On the basis of determining the weight of the ability system,empirical research is carried out,its scientificity and effectiveness are verified in practical application,and then the current situation of data literacy level of normal students is analyzed,this paper constructs the "5W" evaluation framework of normal students’ data literacy,which provides a practical path analysis for the application of the ability system.Finally,based on the empirical research results,this paper puts forward the promotion strategy of normal students’ data literacy.The three-dimensional data literacy model of normal students constructed in this study consists of three basic dimensions: "basic data literacy","data literacy for students’ learning" and "data literacy for teachers’ teaching".The three dimensions are independent and interrelated.The three dimensions include 11 primary indicators,33 secondary indicators and56 tertiary indicators,Dimension and indicators at all levels together constitute the "data literacy ability system of normal students".The empirical survey results show that the data literacy of normal students is at the middle and upper level.Normal students are outstanding in "ethics",and their abilities of "data knowledge" and "data skills" are the least optimistic.Normal students need to further improve their abilities of "learning to learn","research and innovation","teaching belief","technical support" and "data application".There are some differences in data literacy of normal students in gender,age,school location,major type and so on.The level of data literacy of boys is slightly higher than that of girls.With the growth of age,the level of data literacy of normal students shows a trend of gradual improvement.The level of data literacy of graduate normal students is generally higher than that of undergraduate normal students,and "data knowledge","data skills" and "technical support" are the ability areas that normal students of all grades lack.Normal students studying in normal universities are obviously better than normal students studying in non-normal universities in the ability of "research and innovation",and they also differ greatly in the ability of "data application".There are significant differences in the four abilities of "data knowledge","data skills","data thinking" and "learning belief" among normal students in different schools.The data literacy of normal students in the eastern region is better than that in the central region,and the data literacy of normal students in the western region is the least ideal.There are significant differences in three abilities of "data awareness","data knowledge" and "learning belief" among normal students of different types of major.The data literacy of science and engineering students is the best,the data literacy of art students is in the middle,and the data literacy of literature and history students still has great room for improvement.Finally,this study constructs the "5W" evaluation framework of data literacy,which provides a practical path analysis for the application of the ability system.The education of normal students’ data literacy needs to be coordinated from the government,colleges and universities and normal students themselves.The government should establish top-level design and planning,actively play a benign guiding role,and increase the financial support for normal students’ data literacy projects.Colleges and universities should give full play to the existing advantages of Libraries in information literacy education,Clarify the "professional" goal orientation of data literacy training for normal students,and provide an education model to meet the diverse needs of normal students.While further consolidating the ability level of various indicators under the dimension of "basic data literacy",normal students continue to improve their abilities of "learning to learn","research and innovation" and "data application". |
