Social Work Research On The Improvement Of Public Moral Consciousness Of Residents In "Farmers To Citizens" Community

In recent decades,China’s urbanization level has been continuously improved.In the process of urban expansion,a large number of rural areas have been transformed or relocated into urban communities,and the governance subject has been changed from village committee to neighborhood committee,that is,they have become " farmers to citizens " communities.Due to the influence of many subjective and objective factors,a series of violations of public morality have emerged in the " farmers to citizens " community,which is the manifestation of the weak public moral consciousness of its residents.In the existing studies,the discussion on this problem mostly stays at the theoretical level,and the solutions given are mainly ideological and political education at the macro level,lacking the research from the perspective of professional social work.As a professional force,social work has unique results in solving community problems.Therefore,from the perspective of social work,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore how to improve the public moral consciousness of "farmers to citizens " community residents.Taking s community in Chengdu as the research object,this paper uses social work methods to reshape and strengthen residents’ public moral awareness through practice,change the problems of poor public environment and low residents’ life satisfaction in s community,and provide reference for future social work research and practice.Firstly,before the practical activities,by means of questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview,this paper determines the manifestations of the weak public moral consciousness of residents in s community,including the lack of public consciousness of neighborhood mutual assistance,low public participation,weak sense of public responsibility and disorder of public order,and analyzes the reasons for this problem from the individual and community levels.Secondly,according to the information obtained from the survey,we adopt the method of group work to explore the problem of weak public moral awareness of community residents.Under the guidance of cognitive behavior theory and social learning theory,design and implement seven group activities,guide group members to establish a sense of community belonging and responsibility,promote the germination and cultivation of their public moral consciousness,and then start from themselves,gradually drive other community residents,and finally achieve the purpose of jointly maintaining the good face of the community.After the group activities,the operation process and effect of practical activities were evaluated by combining process evaluation and result evaluation.The research shows that the development of social work practical activities in s community is feasible and effective,plays an obvious positive role in improving the public moral consciousness of community residents,and provides a reference theoretical perspective and practical experience for the improvement of public moral consciousness of residents in other "farmers to citizens " communities in China.Finally,combined with the development of practical activities of social work,this paper puts forward some suggestions,such as building a talent team of community moral education,linking multiple resources to carry out social work services,and comprehensively using professional social work methods.
