Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,"strengthening the construction of teachers’ ethics and cultivating high-quality teachers" has become a new requirement of teacher training in the new era.General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed that ideological and political courses are the key courses to implement the fundamental task of moral education and cultivate people,and the key to running ideological and political courses well lies in teachers.Under the care of the Party and the state,the important value of education of ideological and political theory courses in schools has been constantly highlighted,and the important role of teachers of ideological and political theory courses has also been constantly presented.As a middle school ideological and political subject teaching task of ideological and political subject teachers,is playing a decisive role.It is necessary to give full play to the key role of ideological and political teachers in classroom teaching and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political classroom teaching.This requires teachers of ideological and political discipline to be deeply aware of their own arduous tasks,strengthen the study of effective teaching theory and ideological and political discipline theory,and realize the comprehensive improvement of effective teaching ability through improving professional quality,general teaching ability and subject teaching ability.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the research background and significance of the paper,analyzes the research status at home and abroad,and mainly adopts literature research method,classroom observation method and questionnaire survey method to carry out research on the improvement of ideological and political subject teachers’ effective teaching ability.The second chapter summarizes the problems related to the effective teaching ability of teachers of ideological and political subjects,clarifies the concepts of effective teaching,effective teaching ability and effective teaching ability of teachers of ideological and political subjects,and summarizes the theoretical basis of educational psychology of effective teaching such as behaviorism,cognitivism and constructivism.The third chapter emphatically explains the constituent elements of general teaching ability and subject teaching ability in the structure of ideological and political subject teachers’ effective teaching ability.General teaching ability includes teaching design ability,teaching implementation ability,teaching evaluation ability,teaching reflection ability,teaching innovation ability,teaching research ability;Subject teaching ability includes the ability to study ideological and political subject theory,the ability to integrate current affairs and politics,the ability to have sharp political insight,the ability to inspire students to conduct self-education,and the ability to guide students to establish a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values.The forth chapter of the present conditions of the ideological and political teacher’s effective teaching ability observation,research,analysis summed up the ideological and political teacher’s effective teaching ability to the problems existing in the present situation,performance in teaching contents and teaching methods in the design of teaching and the teaching environment,teaching knowledge target light ability and emotional goals,teaching evaluation results light process,Teaching reflection attaches more importance to form than content,teaching innovation attaches more importance to teachers than students,and teaching research attaches more importance to external research than self-improvement.It is concluded that professional quality needs to be improved,general teaching ability has not reached the degree of automation,and subject teaching ability is deficient.The fifth chapter discusses the ways to improve ideological and political teachers’ effective teaching ability from the aspects of improving professional accomplishment,general teaching ability and subject teaching ability,which provides useful reference for the improvement of ideological and political teachers’ teaching level.In order to improve the effective teaching ability of ideological and political teachers,professional accomplishment is the starting point,general teaching ability is the core,and subject teaching ability is the key.In order to improve the effective teaching ability,we must grasp the professional quality,strengthen the training of teaching skills and train the teaching ability of subjects.
