With the continuous popularization of the concept of equality between men and women, women can enter the labor market as freely as men and show their style in the workplace.Occupational status is an important indicator reflecting the equality of men and women in the workplace. Thanks to the in-depth popularization of the concept of equality between men and women, the occupational status of women has been greatly improved compared to before. However,in real life, women also face inequalities in the workplace, such as fewer opportunities for promotion and unequal pay for equal work, which further affects women’s occupational status.Especially for married women, the inequality in the workplace is even more serious.Due to the problems of fertility and family, married women not only have to deal with heavy work, but also devote enough energy to return to the family. In addition, compared with men, married women tend to have fewer career advancement opportunities in the workplace, and they are often discriminated against in the process of reemployment due to occupational interruptions due to childbirth and other reasons. The occupational status of married women severely challenged. In this context, the research on the influence of the occupational status of married women has entered the field of view of scholars.Based on previous scholars’ research on occupational status,it can be found that there is less research on occupational status of married women, and in the past, most scholars have studied women’s occupational status from the perspective of family factors and personal factors, and few scholars have studied the impact of family and personal factors on women’s occupational status under the same framework. In addition, marriage is a major event in women’s life.Whether and how marriage affects women’s professional status is worth exploring. Therefore, this paper takes married women as the research object and uses the fourth-period Chinese women’s social status sampling data in Hainan Province to construct a theoretical model that family endowment, human capital, and marriage quality affect the occupational status of married women. The role mechanism of women’s occupational status has been deeply studied, and the research on the occupational status of married women has been deepened,so as to provide reference for improving the occupational status of married women.Referring to previous research results, this paper takes 490 married women in Hainan Province as the research object, and empirically analyzes the relationship between married women’s family endowment, human capital, marriage quality, and occupational status, and draws the following conclusions:Married women’s family endowment positively affects their occupational status, that is,the higher the level of married women’s family endowment, the higher their occupational status; The family endowment of married women positively affects human capital, that is,the higher the family endowment level of married women, the higher the level of human capital;Married women’s human capital positively affects their occupational status, that is,the higher the level of married women’s human capital, the higher their occupational status;Married women’s human capital plays a partial mediating role between family endowment and occupational status, that is,married women’s family endowment indirectly affects occupational status through human capital;Married women’s marriage quality plays a moderating role between human capital and occupational status, that is,compared with low-marriage-quality married women,high-marriage-quality married women’s human capital has a stronger positive effect on occupational status.
