Research On The Social Deficiency Of Military Retired Cadres And Social Workers’ Intervention

Retired military cadres are retired military cadres in China.They have made indelible contributions to the establishment and development of new China and are the precious wealth of the party and the country.In order to better ensure the management and service of retired military cadres,China established the retirement system of military cadres in 1958.By 1983,the general office of the State Council issued the notice on the transfer of retired military cadres to local management,which stipulates that retired military cadres shall be managed by civil affairs departments after they are transferred to local areas.With the reform of the military retirement management system,military retired cadres are also facing major changes from military management,not separated from the army to local management,separated from the army and asked to integrate into the local to carry out military retirement life,resulting in a series of social deficiencies,which seriously affected their military retirement life.This thesis mainly expounds from two aspects: Theory and practice.The theoretical level is mainly based on the basic assumption of “social man”,and it analyzes the lack of sociality of retired military cadres from four aspects: social participation,social communication,social support and social network.The article holds that due to the transformation of social space,the knowledge,experience,skills,behavior patterns and psychological habits accumulated and formed by retired military cadres in the army can not better meet the requirements of the new social space,resulting in the lack of ability and opportunity in living in the new social space,which is a social lack.Specifically,due to the differences in the social nature between the army and local governments,the relative closeness of the centralized resettlement of military retired cadres,the management and service methods of military retired cadres and other factors,a series of social deficiencies such as single social communication objects,narrow social relationship networks,insufficient social support motivation and poor channels of social participation of military retired cadres have resulted in: prominent psychological problems caused by the transformation of social roles Space transformation leads to many problems and difficulties in military rest life,such as difficult reconstruction of interpersonal relationship,difficult image establishment due to insufficient self realization,weak environmental adaptation due to insufficient social integration ability,and tense family relations due to self set thinking.At the practical level,based on the overall analysis of the lack of sociality of retired military cadres in Y military retirement center in Jiangxi Province,the case work method is selected for intervention.Firstly,it defines the problems of the case and finds that the case owner has some problems,such as low social participation,narrow scope of social communication,weak social support system and poor social relationship network.Then,it is completed through six stages: establishing professional relations with the case owner,building a variety of activity platforms,improving social participation,broadening the scope of social communication,making up for the lack of social communication,integrating social resources,building a social support network,expanding their personal relationships,reconstructing the social relationship network,consolidating the existing achievements and completing the case settlement work.Thirdly,the process evaluation and result evaluation of the effect of case service are carried out.The evaluation shows that case work can effectively solve some social deficiencies of retired military cadres.Finally,reflect on the case service process,so as to provide more perfect services for the case owner.This thesis holds that social deficiency is a basic problem that military cadres generally encounter in their military rest life,and its solution depends not only on the reform of military management service system and model,but also on the involvement and expansion of social services such as social work.
