| With the innovation and development of digital technology,it continues to penetrate all corners of China’s economy and society. The development of digital economy presents a magnificent trend, which has attracted great attention of scholars all over the world. In the existing research on the digital economy and labor structure, most of them analyze the impact of the digital economy on the total employment,or the impact of a certain level of the digital economy on the employment structure. There are few studies on the impact of the digital economy on the labor structure. Therefore, this paper explores the impact of the digital economy on the labor force, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures in a timely manner, especially in the current world economic downturn and during the new crown epidemic. The research on this topic has important theoretical and practical significance.Firstly, this thesis introduces concepts related to the digital economy and workforce structure.Secondly, the entropy weight method is used to analyze the digital economy development level of China’s 30 provinces and regions(except Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2010 to 2019.At the same time, from the perspective of quality structure, the labor force structure is divided into labor force with different skill levels, namely high-skilled,medium-skilled and low-skilled.In addition, this paper analyzes the current situation of the development level of the digital economy and the overall structure of the labor force in various provinces and regions in my country. Finally,a benchmark regression model and a spatial Durbin model are constructed to empirically analyze the impact of the digital economy on the labor structure, and further spatial heterogeneity analysis is conducted to explore the spatial effects in different regions. This thesis finally draws the following conclusions:(1)The digital economy has made rapid progress and the level of development has continued to rise. However, from the perspective of China’s regions, there are great differences among regions. From 2010 to 2018,the development level of the digital economy showed an upward trend of west-centralnortheast-east.After 2018,the central region overtook the northeast region.(2)The number and proportion of my country’s high-skilled labor force is increasing year by year, but the middleand low-skilled labor force with high school and below still accounts for the majority, indicating that to optimize the employment structure of our country’s labor force,it is still necessary to increase investment in human capital.(3)Across the country, the continuous development of the digital economy will lead to the phenomenon of "polarization" of labor demand, that is,the improvement of the development level of the digital economy reduces the demand for mediumskilled labor and increases the demand for high-skilled labor and low-skilled labor.need.(4)After considering the spatial effect, the digital economy will still lead to the polarization of the labor force structure, and further promote the appearance of polarization.(5)Through the analysis of spatial heterogeneity,it can be concluded that the eastern region with a relatively high level of digital economy development promotes the development of the labor force structure in a unipolar direction, and the western region with a relatively low level of digital economy development promotes the phenomenon of two-polarization of the labor force. In the central region, this situation did not occur in the first two.In order to alleviate the impact of the development of the digital economy on the labor force structure and solve the employment problem,my country should expand the development space for new business formats, promote the quality improvement and scientific diversion of medium-skilled labor, pay attention to the training of digital talents, strengthen the construction of digital economy employment platforms, and strengthen various industries.Construction of regional public livelihood services. |
