In the face of dynamic and complex classroom environment,there will be a variety of classroom emergencies,especially in the lower grade of primary school,the occurrence of emergencies is higher.The occurrence of emergencies will directly affect the course of class and the effect of teaching,which requires teachers to properly deal with the emergencies in class.Novice teachers are a special group of teachers,who lack certain teaching experience and often find it difficult to calmly deal with emergencies in class,resulting in a variety of problems.Therefore,it is very important for novice teachers to master the handling countermeasures of classroom emergencies.Therefore,this study focuses on the current situation of novice primary school teachers’ handling of classroom emergencies.In order to better understand the response of novice primary school teachers to classroom emergencies,case study method,interview method and observation method are used in this study.A novice teacher in grade two of a school is selected as the research object,at the same time,an excellent teacher was selected in the same grade of the same school.Through the comparison of classroom cases between novice teachers and excellent teachers,problems existing in novice teachers’ response to classroom emergencies are found,causes are analyzed,and improvement strategies are proposed.Firstly,in the introduction part,this thesis mainly explains the research background,relevant literature review,definition of core concepts and the design of this study.Then,taking the classification of classroom emergencies as the dimension,it presents three typical classroom emergencies caused by teachers,students and environment,and truly describes the teachers’ response.Through the case comparison,supplemented by the interview with the research object,it is concluded that the current situation of primary school novice teachers in dealing with classroom emergencies mainly includes four prominent problems: insufficient cognition of classroom emergencies,improper way,lack of educational wit and lack of reflection consciousness.Then,in view of these problems,it makes an in-depth analysis from two aspects: internal and external reasons.Finally,it mainly puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies from the perspective of novice teachers,so as to provide reference for the growth of novice teachers.
