China’s traditional education has always respected teachers and education,and has always respected the subject status of teachers.The new curriculum reform points out that the subject of education should be transformed into students,and the identity of teachers is defined as the guide and help promoter of students’ learning.However,in the process of practice,affected by multiple factors,students’ practical activities and emotional experience are not many,and the classroom is still dominated by teachers.The analysis of children’s growth characteristics shows that lower grade students are often restless and lack good attention stability.Students aged 7 ~ 9 can maintain their attention for about 20 minutes.It is more suitable for them to choose intuitive and formal teaching methods.Game activities means that in the process of teaching activities,with the help of the form of games,students are guided to feel the knowledge and experience the classroom.The teaching mode of organic integration between music and interesting games is matched with the new teaching concept.In recent years,with the rapid development of society and the continuous reform of education,the integration of game elements in the teaching process is not an example.There are letter games in English,role play games in Chinese and geometry in mathematics.These are all ways to effectively cultivate students’ thinking ability.On the one hand,the integration of games can optimize the current education mode and change the shortcomings in the education process.At the same time,it can also build a good interactive relationship between teachers and students.In particular,the music classroom itself has lively characteristics.In order to continuously develop students’ thinking and imagination,the integration of games is essential.In the primary school music classroom,the role of teachers is to impart knowledge,and students are the main body of the whole classroom.How to impart knowledge and how to make the main body understand and master knowledge is an important topic faced by music teachers at present.Primary school students retain the nature of children,lively and active,and love games.This paper analyzes the relationship between game and music,and analyzes the feasibility of the combination of game and music.Integrating music elements into primary school music classroom can effectively stimulate students’ interest,release students’ nature,and enable students to focus on listening to music and feel music with their hearts.With the help of happy teaching methods,students can also cultivate music literacy in a good atmosphere.At the same time,students’ personal participation in music games can help students learn a lot of music knowledge and improve their artistic literacy,but also effectively improve students’ attention.This paper studies the application of game activities in Orff teaching method in primary school music classroom to explore the role and teaching effect of game activities in Orff teaching method in primary school music teaching.Firstly,we introduce the background of the game activities and the significance and objectives of the research,and briefly introduce the research methods of this paper and the current research status of scholars at home and abroad.Secondly,the core concepts such as game activities,primary school music teaching and Orff teaching method are defined.Once again,a questionnaire survey and face-to-face interview were conducted on the current situation of game activities in the music class of Liangjiang New Area Renmin primary school,and the relevant data were analyzed and sorted out.Then the problems existing in the specific practice of Liangjiang New Area Renmin primary school were studied for analysis and reflection.Finally,this paper summarizes the role of game activities in primary school music classroom and proposes optimization suggestions to better play the role of game activities in Orff teaching method in primary school music class.
