In the last century,educator Ye Shengtao put forward the teaching concept of "reading the whole book",but because of the restrictions of various elements in the teaching implementation,it is hard to read the whole book to realize.With the continuous education reforming,today’s social educators have gradually realized that reading has many perfect parts in improving students’ language logic capability and improving students’ core performance,so the full-text reading teaching has paid much attention.Many Chinese teachers begin to implement the whole book reading teaching activities inside and out of class.The reading of the whole book of high school Chinese is also conceived.Its emergence is that the reading in the high school Chinese classroom is more colourful,and it can also improve students’ expression ability,logical thinking ability,aesthetic ability,etc.,but there are also some problems in its implementation。Taking Fengxin No.1 Middle School in Yichun City as an example,this article tries to find problems in the current situation of reading the whole book by investigating the views of teachers and students on the reading of the whole book,and finally puts forward some practical countermeasures to improve the current dilemma of reading the whole book.
