Research On The Cultivation Of University Students’ Awareness Of The Rule Of Law In The New Era

The report of the 19 th Party Congress clearly points out that "adhere to the rule of law state,rule of law government and rule of law society integrated construction." This points out a new direction for the development of the road of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics and marks a new stage of development for the comprehensive rule of law.As the main force of the modernization construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,college students can better participate in the construction of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics only if they have a perfect awareness of the rule of law.Therefore,it is important to strengthen the cultivation of university students’ awareness of the rule of law and improve the level of university students’ awareness of the rule of law to meet the inevitable requirements of the development of the changing times.This paper is based on the research on the cultivation of university students’ awareness of the rule of law in the background of the new era,aiming at improving the level of university students’ awareness of the rule of law and cultivating the new man of the times who can adapt to the modernization construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper follows the logic of "what","why" and "how" to systematically study the cultivation of university students’ awareness of the rule of law in the new era from six parts.The specific contents and structure are as follows.The first part is the introduction.It mainly introduces the background of the topic and the significance of the research,compares and summarizes the current situation of the research on the cultivation of university students’ awareness of the rule of law in the new era in the academic circles at home and abroad,and explains the research ideas,research methods,main problems and innovation points of the research.This part lays the foundation for the comprehensive development of the research work.The second part mainly explains the relevant concepts and the theoretical basis of the research.Firstly,the distinction between "rule of law" and "legal system" is made;secondly,the connotation of rule of law consciousness and rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era is defined,and the inner connection between rule of law consciousness and rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era is clarified,and the four aspects of periodicality,practicality,variability and specificity are also explained.At the same time,the characteristics of the rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era were elaborated from four aspects,namely,the current,practical,weak and special.Finally,the theoretical basis of the research on the cultivation of the rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era is explained from the rule of law thoughts of the classical writers of Marxism,the important discussions on the rule of law by the main leaders of the Communist Party of China,the rule of law thoughts in the traditional Chinese culture and the reference of the western rule of law thoughts,which lays the foundation for the subsequent research.The third part mainly discusses the importance and necessity of cultivating the awareness of the rule of law among college students in the new era.Strengthening the cultivation of rule of law consciousness among college students in the new era is conducive to creating a good atmosphere of rule of law,enhancing the concept of rule of law for all people and promoting the practice of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics.At the same time,it is an inevitable requirement to promote the comprehensive development of college students in the new era,a need to realize the important goal of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and a practical need to implement Xi Jinping’s thought of rule of law.The fourth part mainly analyzes the current situation and problems of cultivating the rule of law awareness among college students in the new era.Through the questionnaire survey,we analyzed the data and found that although the college students in the new era have gradually matured their awareness of learning the law,gradually increased their awareness of abiding by the law,gradually improved their ability to use the law and attached importance to the role played by the law,there are problems that the legal knowledge reserve is not complete,the ability to use the law needs to be improved and the legal faith is not firm enough,and we analyzed the causes of these problems from four aspects: colleges and universities,families,society and college students themselves.It also analyzes the causes of these problems from in the new era.The fifth part mainly explains the countermeasures for cultivating the rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era.On the basis of analyzing the current situation of cultivating the rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era,it discusses the countermeasures for cultivating the rule of law consciousness of college students in the new era from four aspects: principles,contents,environment and methods.The sixth part,conclusion and outlook.It mainly summarizes and concludes the contents and conclusions of the study,and at the same time puts forward the shortcomings of this thesis and the problems to be improved in the future,and points out the direction for the future research.
