Developing and utilizing localized curriculum resources is an important entry point for deepening curriculum reform and cultivating students’ subject core literacy.As a kind of curriculum resources,Nanchang red resources cover rich educational contents of ideal beliefs,and their material carriers and revolutionary spiritual values can not only enrich the educational spiritual connotation of ideal beliefs,but also innovate the teaching practice of ideal beliefs.Nanchang red resources are natural resources and good carriers in ideal beliefs education for junior middle school students.The use of Nanchang red resources in ideal belief education for junior middle school has a very important role for the reform and innovation of Political Science class,the development and protection of local red resources,and the cultivation of students’ firm ideal beliefs and the enhancement of teaching effects.This study conducts research on the use of Nanchang red resources in ideal belief education for junior middle school,and tries to explore more effective countermeasures based on the existing ones.This paper has been divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the background,the current situation at home and aboard the ideas and methods,the innovation and shortcomings of this study.The second part discusses the connotation,types and characteristics of Nanchang red resources which shows their value in the ideal belief education of junior middle school students.The third part analyzes the current situation and causes of using Nanchang red resources in the ideal and belief education in junior middle school students.Through questionnaires and interviews,it is found that some problems such as the weak initiative of middle school students in learning Nanchang red resources,the teachers’ focus on the teaching form of Nanchang red resources but not enough ideological sublimation,the insufficient construction of Nanchang red resources in campus culture.The fourth part propose the countermeasures on the basis of the problems and causes for using Nanchang red resources in the ideal and belief education for junior middle schools.To improve the effectiveness of ideal and belief education,the following countermeasures are proposed,which includes innovating the teaching mode of Nanchang red resources,improving the teaching process of Nanchang red resources,and enriching the campus construction system of Nanchang red resources.
