Guiding post-90 s college students to building communistic ideal and belief is the core content of ideological and political education in university. Post-90 s college students are the main and new force of socialistic construction, whose ideal and belief is related to our country’s future. Considering from the individual level, ideal and belief education is beneficial to help college students building the right view of life and world, which can provide the spiritual power. The social value of researching the ideal and belief education on post-90 s college students is firming the socialist road with Chinese characteristics and providing ideological guarantee for realizing Chinese dream. The space-time circumstance of post-90 s college students is different from the college students in the past. Post-90 s college students’ ideal and belief is healthy, positive and active in the mass. But their ideal and belief still exists problems. This paper starts from analyzing the connotation and research value of the ideal and belief education, and analyzing the characteristics of post-90 s college students. The reason for non-ideal effect of the ideal and belief education is educator, student and circumstance. Based on analyzing the problem, this paper makes constructive suggestion, aiming to improve the effect of the ideal and belief education on post-90 s college students. This paper includes four chapters.The first chapter studies the connotation and research value of the ideal and belief education on post-90 s college students. As the logical starting, it defines the connotation and elucidates the content of ideal and belief education systematically.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of post-90 s college students. The post-90 s college students as the educational object should be recognized and analyzed adequately. Different from the college students in the past, the post-90 s college students possess more time features. This chapter analyzes the space-time background, thought, behavior, psychology of post-90 s college students.The third chapter studies the problem and reason of ideal and belief education on post-90 s college students. As the logic center, it discusses the existing problem and finds the reason.The last chapter proposes countermeasures. As the logical end point and the research orientation of this paper, this part presents some optimized strategies based on the problem and reason of ideal and belief education on post-90 s college students.
