The problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers have always been the focus of continuous attention of government departments, and raising farmers’ income is the necessary link to solve the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers. It is of great significance to establish and perfect the scientific training system and improve the skill level of farmers. At present,China’s agricultural development mode is in the transition stage from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. It is an inevitable choice to cultivate new farmers with high quality and knowledge of management to adapt to the process of China’s agricultural modernization. However, there are still a series of problems in the process of farmer training in China, such as the low level of farmers’ education and the weak subjective will of farmers to receive training. Therefore, whether the implementation of farmer training is conducive to improving farmers’ income still needs more in-depth research.Based on this,in the dissertation, the status of the farmers’ revenue in Shandong province and the analysis of the new professional farmers training status, and surrounding areas in Shandong province "farmers revenue how training status-what factors affect the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in training-if farmers training is beneficial to promote the farmers’ income growth-how to deal with problems arising from the farmers’ training" this logic,Systematically analyze the influence of participating in training on farmers’ income. The research content of the dissertation mainly includes the following aspects:First, using the data collected by the National Bureau of Statistics and research, analyze the farmers’ income in Shandong Province and the current situation of farmers’ training in Shandong Province,so as to clarify the necessity of improving farmers’ income and the existing problems in farmers’ training.Second,we combined with the research hypothesis and model construction, through the classical wage equation model and propensity value matching method to study whether participating in training can improve farmers’ income, and analyze the factors affecting farmers’ training willingness.Third, combining with the existing problems of farmers’ training and the factors affecting farmers’ training willingness, the dissertation puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on optimizing farmers’ training to improve farmers’ income from multiple aspects. The conclusions of the dissertation are as follows:First, there is a large gap in the income of farmers in different areas of Shandong Province, and the income gap between urban and rural residents in the same area is also widening year by year, indicating the necessity of improving the income of farmers. In addition,we found that in the current training of farmers, there are problems such as unbalanced structure of training objects, unreasonable training courses and unsatisfactory training effects.Secondly,in the propensity score matching method, the results of this study show that age, education level, gender, main source of income, and willingness to engage in agriculture for a long time can all contribute to farmers’ willingness to participate in training. The probability of farmers participating in training will decrease by 0.6% for each additional year of age,and the probability of farmers participating in training will increase by 4.3% for each additional year of schooling.Men were more likely than women to participate in training,5.9% more than women;Age has a negative influence on whether farmers receive training or not.The results of classical wage equation show that participation in training can significantly promote farmers’ income.Thirdly,to optimize farmer training to improve farmers’ income, farmers’ subjective initiative in receiving agricultural training should be improved, and some suggestions should be put forward from improving training problems and farmers’ feedback in the survey.Through the transmission of the article, not only the value of farmer training can be improved, but also suggestions can be made for increasing farmers’ income.
