The development of the 2020 revised edition of the General High School History Curriculum Standards has provided high school history educators with new teaching objectives and teaching ideas.Among them,the cultivation of the five core literacies in history has become a popular research object in recent high school history studies.Through the study and exploration of history micro-lesson teaching,this paper hopes to explore a new form of cultivating students’ core literacy of family and nation through micro-lesson format,and also to put forward some own views and application strategies for the popularisation of micro-lesson in high school.The main part of the paper begins with an analysis of the characteristics of micro-lessons in high school history and the core literacy of family and nation,demonstrating the feasibility and even necessity of micro-lessons in high school history teaching through arguments,and a detailed account of the characteristics and functions of micro-lessons in high school through teaching practice and learning from previous micro-lessons.This is followed by a questionnaire survey on the implementation of micro-lessons in current high schools and the cultivation of a sense of home and country.The paper discusses the relevant materials and the content descriptions of the new curriculum,analyses the new characteristics of family literacy in the new era and the teaching requirements for family literacy in the new curriculum,and argues for the cultivation principles and teaching methods that should be paid attention to in the process of cultivating family literacy.Through the integration and application of previous theories,three history micro-lesson tutorials are created for the upper and lower volumes of the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History.The birth of the idea of unification in the Qin Dynasty,the explorations of educators in the Republic of China,and the modern workers’ movement in the West are selected as historical materials for the micro-lesson design.The micro-lesson ideas argued for are combined with nationalism in the design process,and the intended purpose of cultivating nationalism is achieved through the extension of knowledge outside the books.
