Research On The Integration Of Civil Code Education Into Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

The Civil Code is a major achievement in the construction of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics in the new era and an important resource for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Strengthening education on the Civil Code for university students is a common task of ideological and moral education and rule of law propaganda education in colleges and universities.Integrating education on the Civil Code into ideological and political education in colleges and universities can effectively promote the propagation and popularisation of the Civil Code in colleges and universities,thereby cultivating high-quality talents with both moral and legal qualities.On the basis of analysing the necessity and feasibility of integrating Civil Code education into ideological and political education in colleges and universities,this paper further explores the shortcomings and causes of integrating Civil Code education into ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and tries to build an effective path for integrating Civil Code education into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The whole paper includes five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.Chapter 2 explains the basic concepts of Civil Code education and ideological and political education in colleges and universities,the main contents selected for Civil Code education,and the contemporary value of integrating civil code education into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Chapter 3 analyzes the necessity and feasibility of integrating Civil Code education into ideological and political education of colleges and universities.The necessity is manifested in the inevitable requirement of promoting national construction,the practical need of promoting the construction of harmonious campus and the objective demand of promoting students’ all-round development;the feasibility is manifested in the intermingling of education contents,the convergence of education values and the unity of education goals.Chapter 4 explores the shortcomings of integrating Civil Code education into ideological and political education of colleges and universities and the corresponding causes.The shortcomings are: the teaching level needs to be improved,the curriculum construction needs to be strengthened,and the support system needs to be improved;the reasons for the shortcomings are: the weak teaching staff of civil code,the imperfect curriculum system of civil code,and the insufficient support from all educational parties.Chapter 5 explores the path of integrating Civil Code education into ideological and political education of colleges and universities,and advocates the construction of “1+3+1” path system,the first one is to follow the basic principles,including the principles of “long and short dependence”,“high and low complementarity” and “static and dynamic combination”;the middle three are to improve the teaching level of teachers,strengthen the basic construction of curriculum and improve the diversified support system;the last one is to provide comprehensive institutional guarantee,including refining the leadership mechanism,building the incentive mechanism and the supervision mechanism improvement.
