The new curriculum standard proposes to take people’s development as the core and cultivate the core literacy of the discipline.Under this background,the large-unit teaching that points to the big task or the big goal is born.At this time,the large-unit teaching of mathematics can be regarded as the knowledge of MPCK.A specific form of expression,it needs to integrate discipline,curriculum,students’ knowledge and teaching theories for overall thinking and design.Compared with macro chapter design and micro specific class design,this paper mainly explores between The middle-level design between the two is the design of class time or goal decomposition for a certain major task or major goal.The author firstly conducted a literature review on the existing high school probability and statistics teaching research and large unit teaching research,and then carried out theoretical study and practical exploration of several major problems discovered.They are the understanding of probability and statistics knowledge by many high school mathematics teachers.That’s not enough,so what is the underlying knowledge to help understand high school probability and statistics knowledge?Students have difficulty in learning the concepts of this part of knowledge.How to teach mathematical concepts? How to help students improve their learning initiative and reduce the fear of mathematics learning? There are still relatively few large-unit teaching cases in high school mathematics.How to design the large-unit teaching of probability and statistics in high school at the meso level?Through the study of relevant books,the author clarifies the context of high school probability and statistics knowledge.Through the large-unit teaching practice exploration in the "trigonometric functions" and "solid geometry" parts,for example,the big goal of improving students’ learning initiative is decomposed into multiple small goals through the tutorial case,and the big task of learning solid geometry is decomposed into observation Many small tasks such as recognizing pictures,building knowledge networks,and accumulating models.The effectiveness of such large unit teaching can be seen later from the analysis of long-term data collection.The teaching design of the high school probability and statistics unit in this paper is based on these effective practical experience and theoretical guidance.Both the probability part and the statistics part should help students understand the definitions and formulas first,then make simple applications,and finally the scenario.problem solving.The whole process is not only an exploration of the effective teaching methods of probability and statistics in high school,but also an exploration of large unit teaching,the two are inseparable.
