| Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood and social stability,and it is also the most important support for social and economic development.The report of the 19thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly stated the goal of"achieving higher quality and fuller employment".This fully reflects that the government has put forward higher requirements for employment under the new situation,and it is also in line with people’s new expectations for a better life.It has far-reaching significance for continuously improving people’s lives,promoting economic development and building a socialist harmonious society.Independent Colleges have become a new growth point and an important part of China’s higher education,undertake the important mission of cultivating application-oriented talents,deliver a large number of technical talents to the society,and make outstanding contributions to promoting the development of China’s education.However,affected by factors such as expansion policy of university’s enrollment and the nature of Independent Colleges,the employment of graduates from Independent Colleges has become the focus of social concern.It is of great practical significance to the development of society,colleges and graduates to analyze the employment problems of graduates from Independent Colleges today,so that graduates can adapt to the market demand under the new normal of the market economy.First of all,this study takes the development of Independent Colleges as the research background,takes H Independent College(hereinafter referred to as“H College”)as the research object,and aims to promote the employment of Independent College graduates and improve the employment quality of graduates.Secondly,referring to the research on the employment situation of college graduates at home and abroad and relevant concepts and theories,starting with the analysis of the employment situation of H College graduates,this study makes statistics on the employment status of H College graduates,and found that the employment predicament faced by Independent College graduates include:narrow employment channels,low salary,lack of professional relevance,and high turnover rate in the first year of employment.In addition,through individual interviews with the person in charge of the employment office of H College,some department heads and graduate representatives,combined with the questionnaire survey of some graduates,we can deeply understand the influencing factors of the employment of graduates of Independent Colleges,which can be attributed to the following aspects:government,school,student and family.Next,based on the analysis of the employment status of H College graduates and the results of interviews and surveys of relevant groups,combined with the current employment problems,this study puts forward the countermeasures to promote the employment of graduates of Independent Colleges from the perspective of government,school,student and family collaboration.Finally,the main conclusions of this study are summarized and future research directions are prospected.Through the investigation and analysis of the employment predicament and influencing factors of Independent College graduates,this study proposes a series of feasible countermeasures to promote the employment of Independent College graduates and improve the quality of employment,aiming to effectively solve the problems of graduates’employment.At the same time,the countermeasures proposed in this study also have certain reference values for other similar Colleges. |
