| Based on existing researches on Physical quality and cognitive ability,this study focues on the influence of learning table tennis skills and taking regular physical education curriculum on junior middle school students’ body quality enhancement and the improvement of the executive function(cognitive ability)effect.Through the correlation analysis,the study will further explore how the table tennis skills,physical quality and executive function will effect each other so as to provide more practical support for promoting the development of sports skills.This study choosed 61 freshmen in Hebi Liyang Junior Middle School as the experiment subjects.They were divided into two groups: 16 boys and 15 girls in the experimental group,and another 16 boys and 14 girls in the control group.The experimental group was arranged to learn table tennis skills for 45 minutes 3 times a week for 8 weeks,while the control group received regular physical education classes at the same time.Table tennis skills,Physical quality and executive function were tested before and after intervention.SPSS21.0 and R language were used for data analysis and processing.Experimental results:(1)table tennis skills of the experimental group were significantly improved(P<0.01);In terms of Physical quality,50 m running and pull-up(male)/sit-up(female)were significantly improved(P<0.01);inhibition function,refresh function and conversion function were significantly improved(P<0.01),and there was no difference between male and female.The results showed that 8 weeks of table tennis skill learning significantly improved the table tennis skill level,Physical quality and executive function of the experimental group.(2)In the control group,there was no change in table tennis skills after the routine PE class for 8weeks(P>0.05);standing long jump was significantly improved(P<0.01),and pull-up(male)/sit-up(female)was significantly improved(P>0.05);At the same time,inhibitory function was significantly improved(P<0.05).It is suggested that 8 weeks of regular physical education can improve the Physical quality and executive function of boys and girls.(3)After 8 weeks of intervention,table tennis skills in the experimental group were significantly improved compared with those in the control group(P<0.01).In terms of Physical quality,50 m running in the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.01),while standing long jump in the control group was significantly improved(P<0.05).In terms of executive function,refresh function and conversion function were significantly improved(P<0.05).It shows that the experimental group has more advantages in improving table tennis skills,Physical quality and executive function than the experimental group.(4)In terms of the correlation between table tennis skills,Physical quality and executive function,inhibition function was correlated with flat hitting,backhand push/pull,forehand attack,1/2 two-point attack,50-meter running,and pull-up(male)/sit-up(female);The refresh function is related to the flat hit,backhand push/dial,1/2 sets of two-point attacking ball and 50-meter running.The conversion function is related to the flat hitting ball and 1/2 two-point attacking ball.Table tennis skills and Physical quality will affect executive function.(5)The "Vegan" package of R language was used to analyze the 6 variables of executive function.In the inhibition function,the backhand push and dip and 1/2 forehand two-point attacking ball made significant contributions(P<0.01,R2=0.56).In the refresh function,the backhand push and dial(P<0.01,R2=0.21)contributed significantly;In the conversion function,1/2 sets of forehand two-point attacking ball and pull-up/sit-up(P<0.05,R2=0.31)made outstanding contributions.The finding shows the improvement of executive function mainly comes from the contribution of table tennis skills.Conclusion :(1)(1)Continuous table tennis intervention for 8 weeks can significantly improve junior middle school students’ table tennis skills,physical quality(speed,upper limb and waist and abdomen strength)and executive function(inhibition,refresh and conversion);8 weeks of regular physical education can significantly improve physical fitness(lower limb,upper limb and waist and abdomen strength)and executive function(inhibition).(2)Table tennis skill intervention has two ways to promote junior middle school students’ executive function.First,through the process of table tennis skill learning,it can promote the improvement of inhibition function,refresh function and transformation function;Second,the learning process of table tennis skills can improve the upper limb strength(male)/ waist and abdomen strength(female),and then improve the conversion function. |
