With the popularity and development of Internet technology, online shopping is becoming an indispensable part of people’s lives, and at the same time, the problem of online shopping addiction is becoming more and more prominent. In the face of the problem of online shopping addiction among the employees of state-owned enterprises(SOEs),traditional management methods, such as ideological and political work, are difficult to play a role due to time, environment and personnel, and cannot solve the problem at root.In this paper,we focus on SOEs employees and take young female employees with online shopping addiction as a case study. We adopt a case-based social work approach and apply cognition-behavioral theory and dominant perspective theory to study how case-based work can intervene in the problem of online shopping addiction of SOEs employees. After the study, this paper concludes that the traditional management methods of SOEs are somewhat ineffective in solving employees’ personal problems beyond the "eight hours";employees’personal thoughts and behaviors outside the "eight hours" will have an impact on their work and life;the government, enterprises and society should pay close attention to the changes of young employees’ thoughts and give them positive guidance in time;casework is suitable for solving the problem of online shopping addiction of SOEs employees with good effect;combining social work method with traditional management methods of SOEs is researchable, etc.
