| Engage in a relationship is a behavior that is widespread in college students. However, most students have not received systematic relationship education and still have a lot of confusion when it comes to relationships. In addition, most students lack relationship experience, have bias in the perception of love, can not properly handle the actual problem in the relationship, resulting in mutual harm between couples. This also sows hidden dangers for the marriage afterwards, which is related to the stability and harmony of the society. Therefore, education to guide college students to form a healthy view of love has become an important issue in school social work.In this study, the group work method has more advantages than the traditional method, which can avoid the boring and tedious one-way transmission of knowledge in the traditional education model to a certain extent, and also stimulate the subjective initiative of the group members,so that the group members can learn and grow in a more interesting and interactive form. This study aims to guide some college students to establish a scientific and rational view of love, and use group work method to conduct practical interventions for students in Beijing University B,based on the preliminary interviews, five love-themed activities were conducted in the group, and post-evaluation was conducted. The themes of the relationship activities were: relationship motivation, mate selection criteria, love expression, problem handling, and separation coping, with 25 sub-themes.The practical evaluation and comprehensive validation showed that the group intervention in relationship concept education was effective. The group members were very active in the self-assessment and other assessment sessions, and there was a lot of positive feedback, and the group work was optimized and improved by everyone’s suggestions. The group passed on relationship knowledge to the group members,so that they learned some skills and methods of handling relationships and prevented the possible harm caused by lack of relationship knowledge. The group members gradually explored with education and guidance, considered various factors in relationships, had a clearer perception of their relationship needs, analyzed typical problems in relationships, solved some confusion in relationships, and relieved their anxiety in facing relationships problems,as well as fully felt the trust and support of the peer group and gained friendship in this group activity. This study combined case and group work, with the individual as the research object and the group as the intervention mechanism, taking into full consideration the individuality of each group member. The group design was based on the law of relationship development and the innovative "12 elements of relationship concept + 5modules + 3 dimensions",combining various activities and adopting the model of "activity-based and assessment-supported".The advantage of this model is that the group members can explore in the game, grow in the communication,self-reflect in the discussion, and promote the group improvement. This work takes the changes in knowledge, cognition and behavior of the study participants as the measurement criteria, and combines the pre-test and post-test of the experimental and control groups to evaluate the effectiveness of the group activities, summarizes the experiences and methods in the process of the activities,so as to explore the rationality and universality of the model and help improve and promote the model of love groups. |
